@@grantpickett6868 probably is good at slowing down the combo decks but feels like it just gets rolled by fire elemental and doesn’t have the burst to beat late game control decks before they get rolling. If the game isn’t over by the time Druid gets their hydration station its wraps.

Secret Hunter is one of the stronger decks right now because it's fast and distruptive enough to make sure they can win before the big stuff comes down. I saw it frequently on the climb and I still see it often in legend. It's definitely not weak!

yeah any starship deck ive played seemed to destroy it. 100 percent win rate with drenai priest too. secrets arent shit with board full of lifesteal, reborn, divine shield, rush, taunt minions

Prep is just here to make the spells in the deck or generated free so you have room for playing pieces, the deck is fine for value and cards. Think of it as discarding a card to make whatever spell you draw playable alongside your minions.

something I hate about modern hearthstone is how mismatched the names of the cards are to their effects. How does doing a barrel roll deal 5 damage to anything. How does an airlock breach lead to more minions on the board

Chump, you're back! I stopped playing HS years ago, but I still watch your videos because you make it so entertaining. Which is amazing, because Blizzard is SO bad at balancing. With that in mind, have you considered turning this very same channel into a general gaming channel? I'd still watch every HS video you post, but I'm sure the vast majority of your followers are here because of your creativity and would watch other titles, even if they're not super familiar with them. I recall you mentioning that you felt Hearthstone was the only game you were "semi-good" at. But we're not here for super-optimized plays, we're here for the dry humour. Also, if you want we can pretend that the "HS" in your username stands not for Hearthstone, but for "Hot Streamer" or something. Think about it.

I can definitely see them reverting a lot of the buffs to starships with Reno out of the equation. Even the buff to the Rogue Legendary seems excessive. You play the card once, and then it summons itself twice when you launch, so that +1/+1 buff gets applied THREE TIMES

I played it and never got it working… every time i got a decent Starship, it would be destroyed or removed immediately…… it’s happening to me all the time.. i play and just can’t get a head and I’m not playing bad deck nor am i a bad player.. just can’t win… starting to hate this expansions

The combo is to get the hunter pod starship piece and get your starship as big as possible with tess and then throw it with/without exodar and kill all the copies with Ceaseless, it's an easy otk. I don't play this version of the deck so i'm not sure if it performs well. Sometimes it's just badluck or bad match-ups.

The issue is the immediate tempo loss. If you can actually live the turn you play it you probably win the game since it adds like +12/+12 of stats the next turn usually with taunt or something. We've been playing 7 mana 6/6 and 8 mana 2/4 "do nothings" for like a year now.
