You should talk more about the Apollo scanning from Silbersalz, that would be the main reason why US customers would send the film to Berlin. It’s actually an amazing process and they also process and scan other film stocks! You get an 8mp scan for regular scan, but you can upgrade for $10 per 4 rolls for the 100mp+ scans. The main set back from using their lab is the shipping cost to return the film (95$ for me from Baltimore to Berlin). When you add shipping cost and just buy the silbersalz film from NYC or use another stock entirely, their lab costs are actually cheaper for this tier of scan. (compared to many usa based labs) You pay about $40 for 4 rolls process and scan and about $50 for 14k resolution scan.

Valid points! I could’ve went more in depth about all they offer but didn’t want to make the video too long, so I was more focused on the 4 Vision3 rolls and the results. Having the option of the 100MP+ scans is great, but personally it’s a bit overkill on top of having to pay for shipping but maybe one day I’ll give it a shot with other film stocks
