I wondered why my false chords sounded like the first one. The lead vocalist from jungle rot has the 2nd one and I was going about trying to get his false chord without even realizing there were different techniques or whatever. So thank you for this video David 💕

notice for those who already know how to use false chords Drink plenty of water to make the sound even better and if it hurts you are not using false chords

Wait hollup....so I might be doing hybrid screams then? My usual scream is like a mix of gals and fry it was weird it doesn’t hurt so I haven’t stopped doing it

The first one is most likely what I do. In fact I was inspired by Angela Gossow from AE. Many screamers do the second especially in death metal. Closest I can think of is the vocalist of Enslaved doing the second one. Now this makes me wonder if what I'm doing is false chord at all, maybe a hybrid? I don't know. I'm sure I am not doing fry scream at all, and it is very easy to distinguish when one isn't a fry scream. Should I do something about it?

Oh shiiiit. I always thought I only ever did did false chord. It's definitely mainly that, but Im pretty sure I throw some fry in there without knowing it. BTW, you sound a bit like Tom barber ❤️

After watching this and the video where they puy a camera down will ramos' throat , I am not even sure what a false chord is anymore , I juat can't get much distortion when I open my vocal chords wide open , should they be open or colsed
