Yeah, the first time that i rode a surron was like a month ago. I looped out trying to wheelie on a road, i was confident that wheeling is easy and that I could do it so i stopped for a sec and launched it in sport mode. I still have blues on my body to this day.

@@CartaIV here in Germany teachers and classes change classroom for every period, so that wasn't an option. Thankfully nothing ever happened to my bike and I still enjoy riding it to Uni every Day

You’ve done well, once my Ventus 1 gets here I’m not going to ride it without having good pants, a long sleeve, a full face+goggles, gloves, and biker boots. Unless I’m just making a quick ride across the street to raleys, then I’ll wear all of that minus the boots😂 Also because I’ve ridden a mountain bike for so long and experienced a lot of the braking and awareness issues I should be perfect on the Ventus, also I’ve learned to maintain my bike so that should help

I had one crash on a single trail... For me it was the fact I opened the throttle a TOUCH, that deactivated the regen breaking, messed up my balance and off into the bushes I went... Still figuring out how to handle that... I don't want to give up regen...

for the checking i would just do it like i do an airsoft pistol, do a quick check of everything before every other use, a light cleaning after over 7 hours of use(will help find simple loose things), deep clean and inspect it anytime its used roughly for long periods or in a lot of dirt and mud or every 4 weeks if used regularly

My only surron "crash" ever was when i was riding through big length grass patches on private property and the hills weren't hard to ride they just sorta go ↗️↘️↗️↘️↗️↘️fairly big and on my second lap when i was turning on dry dirt downhill i used too much power and didnt get hurt just scared myself(slid out)

Well dirtbikes are significantly heavier meaning the energy transfer won't bounce you off as hard

Check all the bolts fist. Axle pinch bolts etc. make sure the spokes are tight and if not get the wheel trued

Maybe its because they are smaller but I feel like surrons are way more unstable and easy to fall off compared to a dirt bike which feels planted and most of the time have good stability. Surrons will go down over small rocks while dirt bikes just eat up those bumps. It may also just be because of the mountain bike ah suspesnion compared to real dirt bike race suspsension but just my opinion.

the insane 6 hp peak of a brand new sur ron (and less than 2 hp at any speed below like 15 kmh) will be sure to hit a "motorcyclist transitioning" to sur rons real hard, its not like their last gas bike has 50+ hp... no. if anybody is crashing on a stock sur ron then they just suck beyond belief or are very new to riding, sur rons make terrible low end power and very little power at all. still cool bikes, just they aint gonna hurt anybody but newbies.
