Good Job on the Video Mim dragon seems a bit ambitious since we are trading left and right. there is a card that no one considers anymore for blurple and it is GSD it's weird how a phyrexian arena is not even discussed. I know that JDRR look it as too slow (and he trashtalks about 100% of my lists XD) but what do you think of it it can be easy to weave it in either turn 3 with a 1 drop or even in the later turns.

@@willyoufouf I loved it in set 5 and just looking at your name on here I assume you topped with blurple in a big tourney in EU last set. If so I remember that list and I loved it. You could be right on both fronts about mim dragon being to ambitious and GSD being a good card. In the games I’ve played dragon it has felt good just not big enough to a sample size yet. GSD right now I think is too slow but if the meta continues to slow down I could definitely see it coming back.

Hi there! I'm a fan of your top 16 list with blurple, congrats!! Wanted to ask you if you would keep Alice, Yzma and the big Rafiki and why 🤔 greetings from Spain 💙💜

@@FreedomGamingTCG This was me indeed :) Mim dragon has the real problem of either being one of the best or the worst card at any moment she will either be a 10 or 1 depending on the status of your board. It could be interesting to discuss as well the direction the deck goes and why it's so different EU vs USA (the metagame is wildly different with purple green being omnipresent in the EU vs non existent in the US) plus the fact that this deck has trouble due to it's history finding a spot in the metagame (finding good players that agree to test against it is not easy because it's a time losse strict for the other since blurple is never considered as a serious deck)
@willyoufouf4 күн бұрын
@@charlitohb Thanks This list had a lot of test and a few of them showed some flawed conception from me Yzma is really good as a turn 3 she asks for an answer immediatly or will take the game away the problem is that we have to many high uninkables (Elsa/Hades) that will clog the hand if we draw them too early for yzma -> The build was not right for her but i thinks that there is something there to be discovered playing it on turn 3 is the same level of power as Genie. Big Rafiki -> nice as a one off if you play the small one and GSD otherwise he will not do enough (he feels like the mufasa Hazed is playing) Alice -> Very good even tho a bit ugly to setup she sadly fights for the uninkables spot and i tried to find a way around playing Rabbit with yzma instead but this decklist needed more work than i had the time for.

Thanks for the response, it's a very good analysis! I think that GSD is a very good card but perhaps too slow for the current meta, in blurple you have to constantly be responding to the opponent's field and perhaps most of the time you will not find a good time to play it

How do you handle hyper aggro? I feel like any time I get to 4-5 ink they would’ve gotten to 10-12 lore and I feel lost at that point
@FreedomGamingTCG3 күн бұрын
@@pikafire87 flood the board with our 1 drops of early and value trade with fox crab. I think this is one of our most favored matchups cuz it gets to the point where they run out of steam and you shut the door really fast with Elsa’s at the top end

You switch the brooms for Befuddle or Rafiki and hyper aggro gets slowed down immediately

Awesome video! Question about Wasabi, I wonder if you've seen enough blue to merit keeping him in the deck? He's one similar to Donald that feels more consistent against a slower meta where other blue decks run wild (RB, BS, now BG). If you did cut him would you fill it with a different tech card or just add more of other techs for consistency like add a 3rd belle?
@FreedomGamingTCG4 күн бұрын
@@GutInst1nct wasabi could indeed be a cut if blue became non existent but I personally think RB is very strong still and we need some tech for that matchup. Meta is ever changing though so I could see it.

You’re missing the 5/5 Scrooge, and I’d swap the two Brooms for Rafiki or Befuddle. This deck with 8 one drops misses the Turn 1 - Diablo or Chernabog Turn 2 - Azurite Sea and another 1 drop way too often
@FreedomGamingTCG20 сағат бұрын
I’m a little confused, the main list has 10 1 drops but you mentioned playing with 8? I also don’t think 5 cost Scrooge is good enough to justify the uninkable slot(have to be super mindful due to sail needing inkables). I tried rafiki and without Pinocchio I just would rather play cycling 1 drops. Not sure what befuddle helps the deck do but would be willing to hear.
@paulslaughter407219 сағат бұрын
@@FreedomGamingTCG The 5/5 Scrooge is another big body for Belle besides Elsa and Genie. It almost always quests for 4 or trades 2 for 1 and requires immediate attention when played on turn 3. I was mostly referring to your modified list with only 8 one drops, and I just think Brooms are often a weak play because they can get stranded before they activate, or sometimes they’re misplayed and activate a turn or two too early. On the play, befuddle removes a Snake target or little Cindy before she can sing and also slows down aggro. I just really like the Turn 1 Diablo/Chernabog, Turn 2 Azurite + befuddle or another 1 drop.

Thoughts on the new Baymax legendary as a more aggressive stand-in for Belle?

I'm also playing 1 Mufasa! What are your thoughts on Peter Pan Shadow Finder? I'm also testing out 1 Peter Pan Shadow Catcher.
@FreedomGamingTCG4 күн бұрын
I talked a little bit about shadow finder in the tech cards section. I played it for a little while and liked it but ultimately ended cutting it. If I knew I was playing in a gs meta I’d consider putting it back in. I think shadow catcher is too slow unfortunately.
@Dragonia94 күн бұрын
@FreedomGamingTCG yeah, I asked the question right before you started explaining your cuts lol. I never play him on curve, but to force them to turn their characters sideways. Def might get cut, but turning their Calhoun sideways, so they don't get the 2 lore always makes me happy lol

Nice list, although I'm not sure about the Wasabi even being good against the Ice block... Against red/blue I prefer being more aggro with Tadashi, Libraries and finders keepers
@FreedomGamingTCG4 күн бұрын
@@charlitohb haven’t been a fan of tadashi but RB would be the one deck he could be solid into because you will always get his value. Wasabi is really good into blue but at his floor it’s still an evasive that can swing into opposing genies/diablos which is also super relevant.

I was thinking for the second deck remove big elsa and just go 4 mufasa. Also play one more finders keepers.

There's a lot of power with Elsa OTD shift on 6. Mufasa can't shift so takes longer to set up so she can be the interim answer. You're pretty much never wanting 2 Fasa in the field but 2 Elsa's can feel good
@FreedomGamingTCG4 күн бұрын
Elsa is integral to the deck core, having 5 cost elsa and being able to shift her on 6 ink is a very good play. Mufasa is a very fun card(and one of my favorites) but I don't think you can afford to play 4 of them.
