Everyone’s missing the damn point. You can’t review an exchange from fucking exchanges ago for shits and giggles. They realized they fucked the score and refs felt the pressure and went back for the review. Was it right in the first place? Controversial. Can they go back and review enhances from that long ago in the match? Hell no. I’ve never seen that happen before.

Omg what a nightmare to try to score this match. I think Yianni won if we just get away from exposure that wasnt there, because they were both wrapped up so crazy, and neutral. However if we just go on like criteria of control during the match, and mostly that last scramble. Yianni Imo was in control. Thats what he was trying to tell them with that move. With the wrap and the sweep. He felt, and knew he was in control. From the outside looking in we cant feel what Yianni felt in that moment. So yea thats tough to call, but i think Yianni by razor thin margin won, BUT i wish there could be draws lol..>This was so close its so crazy to call one man the winner. If i had to say though i think Yianni won.

@b_rice_17513 жыл бұрын
The one came from criteria. Since the score would be 8-8 zain had a 4 point move giving him criteria at the end and they aren’t just gonna end it 8-8 so they give a criteria point

@@b_rice_1751 when does criteria get a point? If you have criteria you win but didn’t think it gave a point.
@zaynes5094 Жыл бұрын
@@fshnbuddy2 Yeah they basically give the person who scored the 4 the fourth point, even though it's criteria and not a full point they have to count it as a point. I guess they could've done a sudden victory overtime but they didn't because he had the 4 points.
@jeffjeff85623 жыл бұрын
Zain won this match. The 2-2 shouldn't of been 2 for Yianni also. Watch carefully, Zain uses his left leg at 6:30 to push Yianni as well as uses his left arm to lift Yianni's leg during the turn exposing Yianni. Yianni was along for the ride at that point. Yianni didn't initiate that turn. Even further, it would've been impossible for Yianni to lift or turn Zain because Yianni was holding on for dear life and had no base to turn from, he was off balance. You can pause it and run it at 25% and see this is totally obvious. Watch Zains left leg and left arm make that exposure.
@tombystander3 жыл бұрын
Watch yiannis right shoulder as they roll, do it with ur .25x speed, imagine them on their feet and u can see him going for a throw easily. He throws all momentum over that shoulder
@jeffjeff85623 жыл бұрын
@@tombystander Yianni was trying to plead his case at 9:15 when he was acting out his move that we are referring to. Yianni was the one who was in the defensive posture after Zain shot and clearly Zain initiated the roll with his left leg and left arm. That's the part you aren't talking about, you argument begins after Zain initiated the move. Yianni was along for the ride, but cleverly tried to make it look like he initiated the roll and even tried to plead his case, which is exactly what you are doing. I've seen this happen a thousand times in freestyle. The thing that makes it most clear to me is when Zain used his left leg to push, I looked to see if it could've been Yianni going for that roll, but it is impossible for him to initiate that roll without Zain planting his left leg and pushing off, initiating that roll. Yianni was in no position to make that roll happen. He was hanging trying to get the whistle. This call was correct. I'm not 100% on the rules in freestyle, but I know them enough. This one to me looks like they reversed the call because of that reason. Yianni cannot use the momentum Zain produced to expose Zain.
@christopherroth72393 жыл бұрын
Yianni moved his left leg to block Zains right arm and than pushed off intitiating the turn. That's what I saw. That's what he was claiming. You saw it differently. Refs saw it differently. Either way the brick was thrown too late per the rules and the original scoring should have stood. That is why this match was thrown out after appeals and another match was scheduled.

Ohio State home cooking is disgraceful. You obviously are ignorant with this post. OSU favoritism is an excepted circumstance in all sports. Especially wrestling. The biggest joke was the 2018 OSU wrestling team ranked higher than the defending National Champions of Penn State. Did not matter. Penn State flogged their ass in the duals with Nolf out. Then OSU lost the National Championship by way of a pin. Sad. Regardless of the favoritism they still choked.
