Regarding the new resonance system that'll be incoming, I think it'd be helpful to have a system to let you obtain new espers once you max the reso of existing ones. Maybe like for every dupe you pull of a max reso esper, you get a currency you can use to pull from a smaller pool of only new espers or something

I completely agree with you. There's only one thing I think they should adjust which are abilimons and shop prices. Holo shops are too expensive/ we get too less points to actually obtain everything, same goes for point war shops etc.. on top of that there are way to less legendary abilimons in the game. But summons wise I don't think it's bad either.

Yeah, my biggest gripe right now isn't having every legendary - it's the fact that I've gotten 15 legendary pulls, not including the 3 guaranteed ones you get and I'm still missing so many of the epic espers, some of which can make a huge difference in some PvE content, like Catherine, Lin Xiao, Pandora, Nicole, and Laura - and those are just some of the ones I'm missing.

This is making a pretty bold assumption. That someone has the capability/time to actually make it through Temp Tower every month. 3 months in a row, I couldn't get past floor 10. My espers are struggling to beat day 4 of the event, so I'm not getting Thunder essences like I could. At top level, it's probably more fair. But new players are going to have to commit a LOT of time to get to a level that it's anywhere near fair.

I mean I'm relatively F2P (I've only spent money on stamina/gold), so I can say if you got decent 3 star and 4 star units with good relics you can clear a good chunk of TT. After TT25, is where stuff gets a lot more difficult and requires certain espers that excel against some of the debuffs.

As with all gachas, it's designed to be a grind to get better. You might be struggling possibly due to wrong choices/a more casual experience but I hear a lot of stories from newbies who only need a couple months to figure things out. At the end of the day we will all be able to beat the hardest content and it's at least somewhat gated by strategy.

I absolutely hate it. Currently I have reduced my SSM counter to 43 pulls to pity & Every. Single. Pull has been a blue esper. Every one. I notice that unlike the gold records there is no epic pity in this new system. Are you kidding me ? The M-Pass has replaced half of the gr for SSM currency which is less desirable for me. Another gripe I have is the struggle will begin to show itself apparent for players soon as we will not be able to earn enough club currency each week in order to be able to buy the SSM's, or if we do we will have to compromise on GR's, boost stones, abilimons or reset stones. I've been playing the game for a while & been enjoying it. I even spent money on it but the direction it's going in, I'm starting to think I don't want to put any more money into this & I will stick to f2p moving forward which will hugely nerf my enjoyment of the game. . . Considering that 50 SSM is worth more than 1 gold record in the games shops they need to add in an epic pity, elevate the value of them or lower the proposed value of them. I'm trying to stay positive and constructive about this subject, but so far I'm honestly not impressed. This has been the worst banner ever for me

Being f2p, my opinion : 1) first, you don't have to buy this new currency but you will feel the need to. Why? Because it grants you a chance to pull the banner esper or another one that you are missing. So you will play as usual, and buy them in shop as soon as you can. Maybe it will take you 10 months to get enough SSM to pity because you never finished a single TT anyway but well, ok. So, in order to buy SSM, you will need to play MORE : cuz the cost of the items in shops (pw, cube, club) didnt drop and rewards also didnt increase. They introduced a new appealing currency but didnt balance the cost in shops. I needed more stamina than ever to farm the zeus event and buy GR, SSM and abilimons, while farming new lvl in ritual miracles (which cost more stamina btw, how strange) and farming starimons. Ssm real price is hidden here. Maybe when I'll be able to get pw 16 and auto cube 8, things will get easier... But for now its eating my stamina refilling away and I don't seem to "earn more". 2) Finally, my 2nd question is how will this affect GR drops? I could spin 200 GR in august. So far, it looks complicated to equal this amount although, as I stated, I'm using more stamina refills. Why? Because I'm spending energy in game modes that won't drop any GR or scarcely, not even SSM. And those bounties with elemental records are the stupidest thing ever too, no more GR for a whole week. So, lets wait for the end of this month. I'll give my final opinion. 0:)

The problems with SSM are : 1 u cant get them with prime missions 2 u cant get the in pvp reward 3 u cant get them in the gold shop 4 u cant get them with auto farm 5 u cant get them in smalls events (the one with the dice for exemple) 6 u cant buy them the with gems 7 there is no monthly pack with SSM And i could go on... They just ruin the value of gems and GR.

350 gr spins, and 70 ssm spins - still no zeus. still no donar, hyde, clara. but i can pull dupes. 17 legend pulls - 9 of them have been dupes (more than 50% dupe rate), and not even good ones, ones that i'll rarely use like sienna and tang xuan. still super disappointed cause there are still so many that i don't have. all i want is zeus Also, it seems like they nerfed gr drops. i used to see them fairly regularly in the gold shop, but i havent seen one since the update. also havent seen one in bounties either but i have seen a bunch of elemental records which is much worse.

i believe there are two more pressing matters than the rate of curreny acquisition: legendary dupes and the relic system. both are incredibly random and frustrating.

The SSM will essentially prevent you from going 3 or 4 banner units without getting a new banner unit. Its a good thing overall, P2W or otherwise. From personal experience, it is also cheaper to buy SSM than GR to reach 160 pity.

I'm not f2p... I would recommend the devs to simply try their own game F2P or only getting the monthly passes (dolphins). Meaning no 4mil gold, not 21k of gems to test stuff. Create a new account and try it until you reach level 60 and endgame content. See how it's like for the average player to know what their next priority should be.

hey, have you thought of a debuff and/or buff tierlist? talking about what buffs/debuffs you should be looking for when leveling up espers. ex. defense down S tier and is lower or higher than attack up. maybe throw in unique debuffs/buffs like hyde stacks or jiang man netherbloom. thanks

Stopped playing today after playing for 115 days. They wasted way too much time in beta and didn't develop any original game mode. The lack of content if why I stopped. They are too focused on new esper releases for money instead of new content to do with those espers. It just gets boring. Beat ritual 16, story done, beat tower 50, lvl8 cube as a f2p. Now summoning is tedious as hell, saving so much only to get dupes. Pulled 250 time and 3 ten pulls with ssm, no zeus, got jj, two tiye dupes and one sienna dupe so it just killed my motivation. They should have planned out the progression more thoroughly and have had more content ready to push. Good game loved the style and enjoyed it for the time I played. Your content helped a lot too so keep up the grind daddyf2p.

In my opinion ssm is pushing player to either go fully f2p or fully whale. The best I can do is saving from monthly cards because of the insane localized price, and guess I'll stop dropping money since nexus crystal is irrelevant. Since they don't drop neither the gold record summon reward nor the gold record conversion in this patch, I'm very pessimistic about wether there'll be gold record conversion in future banner. No gold record conversion event = nexus crystal is worthless

I noticed something in the relics upgrading system , i don't know if it's common knowledge or not but the first upgrade u got makes u understand if the will be any good because the probability of leveling up the same stat become higher each time u level up

I agree with you. I've never saved up because 10 pulls don't have better probabilities. Another thing that is on my mind - it would be super cool if events were more open to players that weren't totally maxed out. I am totally stuck on part 3 of the Gaius event because I just don't have the squad to take anything down. It's a bummer, honestly. I've had terrible luck for pulls even though I've been playing since a couple banners after launch. I'm also really terrible at building with my relics, I'll admit. But just a thought! There's always going to be lower level folks around.

When they started the SSM, they had to create a pretty broken Esper (Gaius) and had his 160SSM pity in mind. However due to community backlash, he came back as a 450 pity in GR. Considering these last minute changes, I wonder if they're nerfing Gaius and how he'll be nerfed if that's true.

I’ll refer to the first pity is SSM as “Step 1 SSM pity” (Step 1). This is where you can get Gaius at 50%, and Triki/Lewis/Raven/Sally at 50% combined. I understand that this step can be completed before the 80th pull, meaning you got a legendary without hitting pity, you got that 0.5% chance “Step 2 SSM Pity” (Step 2) will be for the 2nd legendary pulled from SSM. This can happen 80 pulls after Step 1 has been completed. This can also happen if you proc the 0.5% chance before pulling for the 80th time after Step 1. What I’m not sure about is: if I complete Step 1 but not Step 2, then will I be reset to Step 1 when the next event comes. Like if Unas was the Shimmer Step 1 pity for the next event, but I got Sally from SSM during this Gaius event, then will I be locked into getting the next banner’s esper because I already completed “Step 1” (even though it was for the Gaius event)? Or will my “Pity Step” be reset. My current understanding is that the pity step would be reset. In that case, it will be better to NOT use any SSM for spinning, because you don’t want to get the 0.5% proc, and get the non-banner esper IF your goal is to get future banner espers. While it can be tempting to lower the pity earlier, you will be running the risk of resetting the pity counter back to 80, making it harder to get the banner esper from SSM next time. Or I could be completely off base here. I read the patch notes for SSM again? But didn’t see anything about the “Steps” being reset (to Step 1) after the event is over, or if the “Step” remain at Step 2

I have gotten 4 legendary espers so far... Usually at 4th I get the espers banner (450 Max guaranted= 5 espers Max pity ... I don't know, I've been taking a break and as I've said previously I've saved about 100 GRs per banner but I've been playing the game less and less, its not really because of the pity or anything, its just I'm distracted by other games that basically require constant attention, with this game I felt like all I had to do was complete the dailies and that was it and even then I haven't played much, having to split it between getting two resources while gold records are basically the only ones I can get with crystals and the super sensus being more valuable, I would be inclined to try and get the super sensus, and so me being a lazy player that hasn't even gotten my free lucas yet or now my free magni, it limits what I'm able to pull significantly because now super sensus is just plain better, its not that gold records aren't completely useless, its that why would I want gold records if I don't have a chance up for anything? I'm just thinking at this point gold records are now just kind of there.

I’ve noticed they heavily nerfed nexus crystal bounties (even gold bounties rarely ever drop gold records now, usually it’s elemental records). Sure, we get 30 ssm pulls a month, but I was getting like 45 gold records a month before- now it’s far, far less. Pretty sure they made it so that it counteracts the reduced pity

Bounties werent a strong proponent of GR/month in the first place. GR been nerfed a bit but in general we get more generic records than before (more than twice including SSM). But yep nexus crystals are nerfed in xchange for records

The f2p aspect of ssm is that you can get extra rolls. The p2w aspect is that you can get gaius without spending too much. Idk how much 1 gold record to real money ratio but I think its more cheaper if you buy ssm than buying 450 gold record

The SSM cost a lot more and can't be purchased with nexus crystals, and you get less F2P so arguably it equals out about the same amount of spending, it's like 89.99 for 30 SSM pulls

My main gripe with ssm is that the pity should carry over to next banner like the gold record banner at least for this next banner. I had not 450 gr for gaius but close to 250 gr and got shafted got nothing. Spend all my ssm and still nothing. So this sucks so much for me and others like me.

It's seems ok to me. I think what makes it hard for a lot of people is that other games make it possible to collect all characters. When I quit Exos Heroes, I had every character except for the last Mythic they had just released. Their monetization was spread across all resources rather than just summons. Dislyte is much more focused on monetizing summons by making certain characters harder to obtain. The thing is that you don't need every character to complete various content. The epic and a good number of rare characters are very useful even in end game. Games that let you get everything usually have a majority of trash characters and you only use 10-15 total. Also, some of the best units are only f2p - Gabby, Dhalia, and Ye Suhua. Dhalia is so important that you don't show the speed of yours.

I think SSM has promise but like everything else, it's better to start out with the system being shitty and make it better over time, because that feels better than throwing 200 summons a day at us and then nerfing it. TT should drop more than 5 per floor at least in the later floors, and they need to stop dropping so many elemental records from bounty or make them count toward GR pity. I think too many people expect to be able to just pull whoever the banner is every single banner, playing for free or close to free, and that doesn't make a lot of sense in my opinion. everyone's account would basically be the same.

Minus 4 summons every month because TT is getting more and more ridiculous... Seems you have to heavily invest in having SPD on every single piece of your relics in order to just survive... Reads their SPD is only around 106 or something, go in there with a Speed Lead and someone at 210 speed and you still get outsped by everyone... It's to the point where most everyone says you need to have at LEAST around 240-260 speed... I can understand a challenge, but it shouldn't be the case where you have to rely so much on one particular stat in order to just be able to try and win... *smh*

I really like the idea of gold records not being the "Important Currency for pulls" it makes us just pull wherever we want so thats nice! BUT they should make some changes to it: -We should be rewarded 1 SSM Pull for each 10GR spent like before. -Change the Epic pity to 10 because 20 Pulls for 1 Epic is really sad. -Add this Epic pity to SSM. -We should get more GR(From dailys/Shop/TT/ any idea would be fine), and some shop prices reduced. -Remove all Records that are not Gold from Bounties. In general I really like the SSM Idea. Im playing ToF atm and Im really enjoying the way they handle currency. Edit: -Packs prices are totally not worth it and should be changed and Localized. -It would be great if the game had a PC port on steam(I know emulators exist, but It eats like 50GB from my HD and I dont have much space)

That's fair and I mostly agree with everything you said in this vid, but at 8:40 you bring up that we need to get our mind out of the gutter that the game is not F2P friendly - but then go on to talk about how we now get more summons. This leads us as the viewers to think along the lines of, more summons = more f2p, but in the case of the new summon currency, it's heavily skewed to P2P who can afford the event packs to hit pity more often, as opposed to f2p who, as you pointed out, would be able to get 30 summons max outside events, but with how temporal tower has been designed recently, + other rewards being locked behind PVP (which feels like P2W with current/upcoming updates), won't be feasible for most f2p and imo is a greedy move by Lilith that reduces the f2p-ness of the game with how rewards are currently structured
