There has always been good banter between Celtic and Rangers fans, there's actually a lot of good humour that gets thrown around (by the sensible majority) and most Celtic fans will have pals who are Rangers fans and vice versa, family members who support the other team etc....hoever, the rivalry is intense, two huge clubs in one city, and Glaswegians are an intense people....some take it too seriously.

"West coast of Scotland" problem is a media term that hides a far older and greater social problem that has nothing to do with football teams.

Loved watching the video Eddy. Nostalgic for me. My late Dad was a PO in the 80s & was working at that old firm game 😊. Coming from a mixed family 95% of the hatred stops at the FT whistle. Although in the town I live in most of the pubs are either Celtic or rangers supporters pubs & when it’s an old firm there’s lock-ins as soon as the game starts .
