Adam, can you please influence someone at the WTT to have them go back and show us matches using this regular behind-the-table view instead of side-view? The main problem with the new angle is that it's not how you play the game. Your view of the table while you're playing is the front of the table, not from the side.

Perfect example of winning is not important but playing the game beautifully is. I always enjoyed watching his matches, win or lose...Koki the legend forever.

@@anujmchitale That's partially true. Winning tournaments is great ofc, you make good money, get into the record books but producing spectacular moments like Koki had been doing throughout his career is enough to gain a cult following, which is more important than winning trophies imo.

@@AV-kl3dx For professionals winning is most important. It's not a leisure time activity for them. They are capable of handling disappointment. But that doesn't mean few trick shots are enough for them to be content. If Koki Niwa is himself asked about his best moments, most probably the answer is going to be some important win or tournament success. And not a highlights reel shot!

@@Omeidenit's a shot where you essentially chop the ball taking all the pace off of it, generally used on defense to block crazy fast shots hence chop block.

I still remember the doubles game against China. Koki and Kenta were fire for real. Such unbelievable shots through the whole match, it was pretty much the most entertaining doubles game I've seen in my life.

Niwa is absolutely my fav player of all time in table tennis, he's the reason i am back playing table tennis after a long hiatus. He is like Kimi Raikkonen in Table Tennis World, also my fav driver in F1. Both retired recently but still can watch Niwa plays in T-league

The wild thing about Niwa is that there are brief moments when he is the worlds most unstoppable player. However, this only lasts for a game and not for the entire match.

It's not a Koki Niwa compilation without the Swedish Open 2017. Specially for me because I was there to see it in person. The whole air of the place changed and after everyone stopped cheering all you could hear is Adam screaming. It was truly surreal.
