For whatever reason they left out a lot of stuff from this case especially from the kidnappings. For some reason the video attributes Shasta living being due to some sort of not wanting to hurt females but in reality it’s due to Shasta being friendly with him, listening to him and trying to talk him out of killing her to survive. At one point he even gave her an option whether she wanted to be shot or strangled but eventually talked him out of it. Both Dylan & Shasta were raped and tortured in the weeks they were kidnapped but he apparently really had a disliking to Dylan and would be more aggressive and mean towards him. When police showed up Duncan didn’t really fight arrest or even try to act like he wasn’t caught. Even though Xqc doubts some of what Duncan said about the murders, from what I remember there isn’t much reason to doubt him or think he is embellishing and that generally it seems that what he says basically lines up with the evidence and his confessions line up with his behavior. Dudes clearly a monster but had a sense of morality but also had a severe sadosexual lust and seemed to zone in and out of moral guilt and his aggressive desires. Because of his brain tumour some people think he may have had it since he was young and that could have been the thing fucking with his brain to cause him to be like this but I think that’s just a theory.
