Nice try! It's all about training and conditioning. However, I am incredulous to the over-pampering with a full support team of this ultra-distance triathlon (Ironman distance) event. In the USA sanctioned races, any outside support would be disqualified, not even pacers for the running leg. The T1 T2 is important and timing critical, too. Don't waste time on transition by changing clothes and never wear socks on bicycling shoes. Triathlon is a very training intensive sport such that you may not have much time hiking. Hope you try the shorter distance (Olympic distance) and see how triathlon can fit your lifestyle. Good luck, CP.

it`s not the regular triathlon race, you can search "Xtri" website to see what they do. ( I already did the 226km in March 2023, it was my first triathlon race. )

@@HikerCP I know you are a tough MDFK'er! I have watched your videos and know you are an avid young explorer with great endurance and athleticism. Since you are still very young(in your 20's?) I suggest that you train up your aerobic conditioning, i.e., VO2Max, so that your heart rate remains low and stable. By raising your VO2Max you will be able to run/hike/swim/bike/race/etc with ease in the aerobic phase. However, there is a need to train up with your anaerobic phase as well. I am a NASM CPT and an ultra running coach in the US with racing(triathlon, marathons, ultra, etc) experience I am from Taiwan and have lived in the US for a long time, but it's easier for to write in english, hope you can understand. Regarding those pills.....use them only when you need them, which most likely you don't :). Keep it up! Perhaps one day I will invite you over to US for more adventures.
