on the topic of nicknames I don't like being called, my name is Giulia and my last name also starts with a G. when I was really little sometimes people called me GG but it never really stuck. One time, I was starting a new survivor island challenge, so I started with a beachy girl in sulani. Vlad swam up and fell in love with her, autonomously, so I played along with it. Before I moved them in together, he autonomously adopted two different children. I think he’s secretly a softy. Eventually she moved into Vlads mansion, but they would go visit her starting island. I tried to turn him into a mermaid so he could handle it there, but I was too late, and he died in the sun. Tragic love story. I just had to tell someone this 😂

Okay so in terms of more name ideas, I have two very out-of-left-field ideas: -Some kind of play on "abominable"; I managed to come up with Ebony, Aba-Mina, Ava-Mina, Abbey-Mina, Avona/Evonna/Yvonna/Ivanna, Abhimanyu (I believe it's an Indian name) or Abna. The Sim could be inspired by the Abominable Snowman so they could do a bunch of stuff in Mount Komorebi maybe. or -A trans Sim who is named Constantino at birth, but later transitions and chooses the name Estan/Aston/Austen/Istan, as in _Estan Bell was Constantino Bell. Now it's Estan Bell, not Constantino Bell. Been long time gone, Constantino Bell. Why did Constantino Bell metamorph? That's not their name anymore._ Anyway, I think I'm the funniest person alive right now, but here's some names that are more in-the-box: -Cilla (As in syllable. I don't know if it will work with an existing basement, but I do know that it works with an existing house (you can put the basement rooms on a 3rd or 4th floor temporarily), then if you build/create a basement starting at one corner of the lot, with the Room Tool, and drag it to the opposite corner, to encompass the entire border of the lot, then resize it with the push/pull tools to the size/place you want OR add the temporarily moved rooms back in and then resize, there will not be any clipping or raised terrain.

As a Caitlin who is Kate/Cait or Katie(shudder) intolerant I wholeheartedly sympathize. I have had very RARE exceptions with one or two people where something about THAT person doing it the way they do actually was not only acceptable, but made me feel warm inside. Usually people that still use my full name as well. Even than it usually had to grow on me. Seems to be a combination of someone respecting what my Mamma named me and that feeling of it's just them so it somehow switches from nails on a chalkboard to special. Also only works when it's someone I'm already fond of. I have absolutely played Sims who were named Kate though. I don't go out of my way to name them that since it feels borderline weird to do, but if it happens I'm fine with it since to quote the Ting Tings "that's not my name".
