You have a lot of light in all different angles bouncing off surfaces in that room. Consider doing your time lapse elsewhere where you can control the angles of the light and how much of it there is. Another suggestion is getting a dark piece of fabric and hanging it in front of the camera with just the lens peeking through. This way there’s not real reflection in the 3-chamber bin. Just some thoughts!

Thanks for another great video. I have learned so much from your videos and a couple other KZbinrs that are well known that I’m trying to start my own worm farm. The one thing I haven’t been able to find is when sifting breeders from cocoons, how do you set up the cocoon bin. Is there a difference in the bedding, how wet do you keep the bin, do you put chow on top so when they hatch there is food for them. All the videos I have seen shows how to separate and what to do with the breeders but never show what to do with the cocoons. You may have a video, I just haven’t found it yet.

🤗kzbin.info/www/bejne/pGGrcqOijNisrKssi=sSytzg6Kfoy2YwS8 The cocoons need to be set up on a heat mat or kept warm at about 82°F. This is done for successful hatching, which should happen in about 30 days.
That adding of dry peat moss felt like the Dust Bowl came into your house. 😂 Keeping worms in such a small sized container like these is really tough. I've got my 'Paris worms' (from my dad's backyard composter) in a 1-quart ice cream box. Been going on for about 8 months. I started with 3, now dozens of them and doing well, but I hardly add anything (1 tsp of coffee ground here, a bunch of spent Xmas cactus flowers there, sometimes grit & a pinch of worm chow...) Not the most entertaining 'bin' I've got, but these worms are quite peculiar. They don't grow yellow tails, don't grow big, but are VERY happy in my tarantula setups. Except when they get caught and devoured. 😂 Just keep trying anyway, AV still got the advantage for these timelapses but he needs some competition haha. ;) Cheers!

hm, IDK. seems It's set up to be anaerobic, like you said. Buy three Gold fish and a bubbler with three hoses. Film that! LOL
