Bro do you know what an MVP award actually is? It’s made up by the associated press. It’s voted on by the same media you’re mad at for criticizing him. So they give him his props by giving him MVPs, one unanimous. And then they also build narratives that are negative based on Lamar’s actual shortcomings, like not winning in the playoffs, stats that say he’s not a good thrower, etc… The stuff they’re criticizing him about is real. Until he gets past Pat and/or wins a chip, they’ll have something to criticize him about.

7:20 Btw “Stepping up” for QBs doesn’t mean the same for all other positions. I watch some All22 film, know football pretty well but no coach, Lamar “played well” against the Chiefs, the dude was the first ever to catch his own F….ing pass the playoffs but that symbolizes the issue. Lamar doesn’t “trust” Bateman (whom needs to leave) or the Oline, the coach staff clearly didn’t trust the RB room (7 carries) QBs “step up” by trusting the supporting cast. Mahomes had one elite throw and was mid most of that game but he “trusted” his team

A big part of it is he rarely plays in the wildcard round and the playoffs are difficult in general. Everyone remembers how great Flacco was at the post season but everyone forgets that his first couple of wins in the post season were entirely because the team carried him. It's also important to note that the bar is so high for Lamar. There's only about 2-4 players in the league who are judged on their playoff record. You don't judge average players by that high of a standard. Ultimately there's really only 1 QB in the NFL who has consistently been good at the post season. Everyone else is too small a sample size to even be in the conversation or have some wins in the wildcard round to boost their stats.

Those hatin' on Lamar is due to one reason and it's a reason they will NEVER admit. He's black, got braids, ain't shiny like Dak, southern accent, and a man of God. Yeah but they won't admit that.
