I adored my grandma. I would go to stay with her every school holiday. I am autistic so this journey was very hard for me. But each time I would travel alone age 8 years old and older. Get off the train and catch a bus to see my grandma. I would run into her arms in tears telling her what I had been through. When she died I was devastated. My dad was like ‘it was the best thing for her’. I ran screaming from my house and was devastated. She was born in 1899 so could tell me the first and second world wars xx
