That's because you know it only from there and have no other contact with this word outside your religion. It is used in at least 3 religions. Amen (Hebrew) is an Abrahamic declaration of affirmation which is first found in the Hebrew Bible, and subsequently found in the New Testament. It is used in Jewish, Christian, and Islamic practices as a concluding word, or as a response to a prayer. source: wikipedia

@@marior.5796 You're not helping. These are the three abrahamic religion that derive from one another. And this word has the same meaning across them, which is not gratitude but surrender to the will of God, acceptance as you said yourself. Regardless of which of these religions we're talking about, their core concept is different from the more eastern concept that Netero is trying to express here. Basically, the meaning is off because it communicates the wrong context and meaning. To me, it feels like hearing "ramen" and reading "paella". Wrong cuisine, and not even a good approximation of the dish itself. A more context-free word of gratitude would have worked better, but I still think transcribing the original one would have been the best option.

Here is were the Arc start from good to one of the greatest Arc HxH had. I will say one of the reasons is great, is because is unique, is not the tipical generic Shonen, nor series you watch commonly, hard to predict and if you don't give the proper attention also hard to follow, with tons of development for every character, minor or main. You always end with 'I need to watch the next chapter right now', and that happens more with the Chimera Arc, that could be a bit slow at this point, but I think because the invasion happens in 3 mins or so, it needed that pacing, which was not the best, but also not bad.

the entire thing was epic but if you bother to think about it all this rage and shit was for a person that he knows fuck all about. all he knows is he hit him when he was a kid and hid dad trained him. then it was just a month or so together. so gon basically thows everything away for someone he doesn't know anything about.
