Fun fact: Shinya Kumazaki, the current director of the Kirby series ever since Super Star Ultra (Return to Dreamland being the first original game he directed) just makes horrifying Lovecraftian artwork in his spare time, and has even done some Kirby art. Just search his name and it's the first thing you'll see. Unsurprisingly, he is the main reason for the crazy dark lore the games since Return to Dreamland have had, and he even voices Void Termina.

This was game was so cute and somewhat normal until the very end with creepy lab experiments, and an eldritch god, and... ramming that god into another dimension using a semi??

I kind of figured it would be pretty normal for awhile, but I didn't think it would get to the point where there was lab experiments and a creature that absorbs other animals into it's body to make an amalgamation of different beasts. Fun fact; the theme for the primary battle with Fecto Elfilis is called "Two Planets Approaching the Roche Limit". The Roche Limit is the minimum distance two planets can be apart before they start to tear each other apart with their gravity. Considering pieces of Popstar were falling through the portal, *I think that limit was already hit.*

Dedede in Superstar Ultra wasn’t possessed. Rather, he put on the mask as a form of protection or intimidation factor during his final fight with Kirby in a cage match, finally settling their long lasted rivalry. Dedede lost and from that day forward Dedede and Kirby slowly became more and more like friends. Dedede was however possessed in Triple Deluxe where he was forced to wear a mask while being used like a puppet. This is the same game where Dark MetaKnight made his sudden reappearance after Amazing Mirror. It’s also implied Dedede was incredibly sad he couldn’t find Kirby after being portal’d and because he has a brain the size of a walnut, he was very easily brainwashed by The Beast Pack.

Oh, right. I am sorry I was mistaken about the battle with Masked Dedede in Superstar Ultra. I believe I was thinking of Triple Deluxe. Not sure how I got that mixed up lol. It's very unfortunate that he keeps getting possessed. He just can't catch a break. I think that Hal may have made him purposefully stupid so he can keep coming back as a foe now that he and Kirby aren't really enemies anymore. It's actually a great idea on their part.

Just a small thing to remember its implied through lore that while they were pulled through at a similar time the difference of time for them arriving was possibly years apart from each others arrival which is pretty sad,which explains how dedede because a beast king in the matter of a day or two with betraying his own subjects, but then you realize that the ultamite life form has been trapped so long, wildlife grew a consciousness and a language to speak as well as they're own hierarchy. Id be a little pissed too xD

I think dedede was here for like a few months actually the time difference was huge It took weeks for elfilin to recover while being taken care of by clawroline while it only lasted a few seconds from kirby 's perceptive

@@grekeandshaw By the way, here us some lore about Elfilin, Forgo and Elfilis. Long ago, Fecto Elfilis invaded the Forgotten Land, and the scientists of Lab Discovera captured it. The scientists experimented in it and use its spatial teleportation ability to create the planet's warp technology. Elfilis also became a tourist attraction. However, 30 years later, a warp experiment incident occurred in Lab Discovera, which caused Elfilis to split into Elfilin and Forgo. Forgo represents the invasive ambitions of Elfilis and is tagged as ID-F86, whole Elfilin is the hidden compassionate soul of Elfilis, his full name is Fecto Elfilin and is tagged as ID-F87. After the incident, Elfilin escaped in the aftermath, but Forgo stayed in the lab and was in the realm of his own dreams, which is known as Forgo Dreams, Forgo Dreams also has some isolated Isles, which seems to be areas that you've explored in the main story. Anyways, the people of the Forgotten Land then used Elfilis's dimensional power to leave their world behind and entered a land of dreams. Later on, Leongar would found Forgo in Lab Discovera, and Forgo would use their psychic powers to manipulate him and use him to gather food, capture the waddle dees and also capture Elfilin so that they could fuse with him and once again become the ultimate life-form, Fecto Elfilis. And that's all for now. Also here is an interesting acronym that is in-game: Natural Plains Everbay Coast Wondaria Remains Winter Horns Originull Wasteland Redgar Forbidden Lands Lab Discovera NEW WORLD, which makes sense since this world is a new one that Kirby has never visited before. Also: Holine Alivel Lightron HAL, the developers of this game.

The kirb community had a bunch of theories about Elfilin being a lab rat 'cause of the missing ear hole. They weren't wrong though, that design definitely hints it even though the eldritch other half had the ear damage too. Although Elfilin's little circle hole is instead melted damage on the other ear of the other Elfilin half, so it's kinda like they were a small but vital piece that was removed.

Two things I'm shocked nobody talks about: 1) It's implied that Waddle Dees are NOT native to Pop Star and teleported from the Forgotten Land. 2) Since Star Allies implies that Kirby is a positive Dark Matter, this explains how Kirby possesses things in Mouthful Mode except Kirby possess inanimate objects and not people unlike Matter.

If you dont know anything about astrophysics, you wont get the reference that is the final boss theme. The theme is called "Two Planets Approach the Roche Limit". The Roche Limit being a term used in astrophysics to describe the point of no return of 2 or more heavenly bodies colliding. Once the gravitational pull gets too strong and they WILL collide, thats the roche limit. Best real world example would be how the milky way and andromeda galaxies will eventually collide, once they get that point of overwhelming gravity, no way back, that's the roche limit.

One detail I like about Fecto Elfilis’s theme song is how it smoothly transitions from section to section, depending on how much health Fecto Elfilis has. Too bad Chaos Elfilis doesn't have that transition detail because that version only has the orchestra section in the ear wing form and the trumpet section in the ball form.

So heres a theory that I'm not gonna say is true or not, but is likely in some shape. Elfilis is tied to the ancients in some way. Considering what the speech welcoming you to lab discovera was talking about, Elfilis was responsible for things such as warp technology, which is something that the Ancients were known for building and using. Heck perhaps this civilization in this game was the ancients, although perhaps not. In either case I do somewhat believe that Elfilis is tied to the ancients in some manor, but we don't have all the evidence to prove it as fact.

That seems to be the running theory for a lot of people and I am inclined to believe it. It just seems that there is so much evidence to support it. Of course, it isn't confirmed as of yet, but I hope they explore it further.

I learned how to use the dodge more at the post game. However, I was jumping over attacks and such and I still would consider that dodging.

That might be the case, however, Fecto Elfilis came from another world to this one because of it's ability to open portals. I don't know of they will explore where it came from in a future game, but it would be pretty cool if they did. It would really help flesh out a lot of stuff established in this game as well as other games in the franchise.

Our kirby is from another dimantion,and the portals are for traversing space time and dimensions,so it may still be this dimention's,but from somewhere far off,so that noone knew of him before he came to the forgotten land. But it is still possible that he is from yet another dimension,or even "another dimension" itself,but in that case,the question is,where is the forgotten land's kirby? Did our kirby never cross dimensions but only space to get to the forgotten land,so he is the forgotten land's kirby,even if that is not likely,considering shiver star is most likely the forgotten land is the forgotten land's shiver star, but then, who is the forgotten land's kirby? We are kinda stuck in a loop, And for the thing that there is no meta knight, king dedede etc., I think you could try to fit them as members of the beast pack, like, dedede as leongar, meta knight as clowroline, because meta knight and dedede are really good friends, and the fighting stile of meta knight is pretty elegant, same for clowroline, leongar controls this world's waddle dees, the awooofis, and is a king, and his big, and has a similiar fighting style, Sorry, but now I have things to do, so, if you want to ask anything I probably won't respond soon, and I won't continue this list of dedede = leongar, meta knight = clowroline, etc. Even if the beast pack and and the ones from kirby's universe are pretty different, across the multiverse all dededes and meta knights can't just be recolors of the originals, right?

Do you guys not know how to dodge roll? (This got recommended to me) Btw, no abilities is actually easier then if you use the normal sword ability (no evolutions or power ups). Btw, fecto elfilis uses a spear, not a sword.

I do know how, but I get flustered trying to figure out boss moves and forget to use it for some reason lol. I am making a conscious effort at getting better at using the dodge roll because it is pretty essential in the post game.

Also, the base sword ability thing is from experience, I fought fecto elfilis with no abilities and won first try, while with base sword ability I died once, mostly because of how little damage base sword does, and how little range it has, it drags out the fight, but it's honestly pretty fun, I recommend it tbh.
