I’m speechless! It’s like a dream come true. They were the sweetest people. Everything was pretty neatly placed. Did they collect or were they sellers too? Wow I think I would have gone crazy and picked up so much more. The price you paid was unbelievable. I would have spend hundreds..lol. The only worry I had was finding a live critter. One of the best hauls ever.😊

I think the dogs with the springs were for paying bills - The bills would rest in the slots of the springs and the pens would go in the holes and the hole on the head might’ve had a sponge that you could wet and run the stamps over in the old days to moisten the stamp and attach to your envelope.

The tea kettle/pot you sold for $90 with the flower handle and hummingbird was lovely. If it was the same one just featured in 'the Nurse Flippers' latest video on tea pots, one just sold for $770, so your buyer is very lucky....... if it is the identical design.

Wow what a spectacular haul. Wish I could find a honey hole like that in my neck of the woods here in Central Ontario. If anyone can recommend places to thrift, other than the overpriced Value Village stores, I would greatly appreciate the information. I also haven't had much luck at the Salvation Army or Mission Thrift stores either. Their prices have gone up so much, it puts it out of my thrifting budget.

Hi Saskatoon girl. I am in Regina and definitely would have gone there if I had known. You picked great stuff. I would have gone back in after paying only $150. I collect skunks and was amazed at the variety. I loved the lucite and chalkware. You seemed so calm. I think I would have been rushing around like a maniac. There didnt seem to be much Christmas. And how did you pick salt and peppers from way up there!! So nice to be alone and not bumping into people. What an amazing day you had, even if it was a long day.
