I've been to the top of the Empire State & for me the views are better from there because ur not behind glass. Makes a heck of a difference as u get to feel wot the atmosphere is like at that height with the sounds, sights & weather 👍😊

My thoughts exactly, Lawrence! Also, I'd definitely encourage everyone to go to the Museum under the foudations of the old WTC... in fact, I'd argue that it's a MUST! Absolutely incredibly moving. I was advised to go there before my trip to NYC, and I didn't think they'd do it as much justice as what they actually did.

Omg that truly was an EPIC guide to the wonderful city! Where do i start, everything was fascinating, i fell in love with New York! The hight fear kicked in going in the lift to the WT observatory but i persevered and it was an incredible sight, never forgotten. You deserve thousands more subscribers just for this alone. What a lovely video Lee, I really enjoyed it. I always wanted to go to New York as a kid and I finally did in 97 with a friend. This brings back some memories although some areas seem totally unrecognisable from when I went, even Time Square is different, but that's the same all over. We did the usual touristy stuff, Up the Empire State, Statue of Liberty, Macy's, Central Park etc, it was lovely, and around the same time of year you did this video and we had lovely weather too. The area around the World Trade Centre was very moving and totally different, obviously, from when I went. We did go up one of the twin towers too which was great, but the new building is something else and a total show piece, and I understand why they charge what they do. There was nothing like that when we went. The lift going up with the timeline of progression of time was amazing. Loved it!

Just watched this epic delayed on’t Big Tele - superb masterpiece! Who needs Judith Chalmers “Wish u were Here” when The Macmaster delivers superb pieces to camera as well as slick editing and quality footage! The bar has been raised off the chart ! We were in Florida August 2001 and took a short trip up to NYC - tried to book for September but no flights available. Went on trip to Liberty 🗽 and within half hour were told to evacuate due to bomb scare. Boats came and took us all back to Battery. 10 days later - when we should have been there it was September 11th…… Great production Lee - I know what’s involved in a huge edit like this - loved it No trip to Dakota building tho …. 🙁🎸👍🏻👍🏻

Very interesting vlog, probably won't ever get there so this is the next best thing. The scrapbook at the bar was really good. Remember me and daughter had been watching TV, neighbours I think, and I went to wash up only to hear my daughter shouting there was a big fire in New York, spent the afternoon watching and as it developed realised what had happened. The memorial is truly beautiful.
