I know they stopped reading comments long long ago it but figured i'd shoot my shot. The two most important items to find the ghost's room are the thermometer and EMF reader (sweep items). Every ghost will make the area colder than ambient, making it between 1C-12C or 33F-50F is the ghost's room/hall/etc. The EMF reader only picks up a reading when the ghost moves an object, door, appears, speaks or etc very near the player when holding it. Once you find the room then use the static tools like the "squawk" box, book, video cam are to narrow down the ghost type. Lastly, the white button next to the map is to rotate the map of the floors and you can also at any time use chat to ask explicit questions like "where are you, give us a sign" to have the ghost turn on a light, ring a phone, slam a door and etc to guide you to its location.

10:32 You blew the breaker, turning on to many lights can cause that to happen. The EMF won't give off anything unless you're in or near the room of the Ghost and it gives off activity, moves an object, rings a phone, etc.

Take pictures of items like phone ringing, microwave dinging,radios and tv's going off on their own. Stuff like that are ghost events. Pics of dead bodies gives you insurance but it has to register in your guide. I hope to see lots more of Dumb n Dumber Ghostbusters😄

When you (meaty) said you didn't know what insurance was, I assumed you were confused on how it worked. Pretty much if one of you dies, the other person would take a picture of your dead body and you'd collect money for their death. You have to be alive and leave though. At the start it did give you a little hint that the ghost was shy saying that she wont come out if multiple people are near. Maybe it'd be worth looking into those texts telling you about what they know about it? Though with no clues it'd be hard to have any idea which to pick.

Usually the thermo stat helps you find the ghost’s room, even if they’re not freezing temps, they will be lower than anywhere else

In the bigger maps, glow sticks are good to have to use as "breadcrumbs" so you don't get lost. I know Meaty is a human compass though😛

from the horror game i have played still think alien isolation is the most terrifying because you never know when its there they are always watching you and in survival mode thats just true horror if you never grew up watching the original aliens you wouldnt know what true fear is me myself have actually seen ghosts but they were most likely my grandparents or the girl who committed suicide in my very house i actually hear her singing in the bathroom sometimes when im taking a shower and say hey i hope your not peeking at me and sometimes ill actually get a giggle or a sorry but its not scary i always love when i hear her voice like a vibrant radiation through the air but im yet to ask her how she died nobody actually knows but from hearing her i knew she was a sweet girl the reason i most likely can hear ghosts is because i have seen death and that normally connects you to the paranormal or whats you call 6th sense sometimes it could be considered an hallucination but in some cases you really did see someone that died but in all remember to respect the dead and i do for her my friend who sadly took her life

I was playing VR on my brother PZ4 so I was playing Job Simulator but the VR hands wouldn’t work but the VR head was working so I told my dad to go on creepy clown ride just restart Job Simulator you don’t need VR hands for creepy clown ride only VR head so the first part it was at hospital there was wheel chair also it was black first part but down at the hallway of it was kinda light also it was so scary we turned back Job Simulator it still didn’t work it was also bedtime for me basically but the first time we played Job Simulator it was working so that doesn’t make any sense why it wasn’t working also the VR hands was charged and the VR head was also charged that’s what my dad said anyways hope you have great day people who are reading this comment

Don't leave your equipment when you go away. Make sure all the stuff you brought with you when you arrived is in the van before you leave. If one of you dies the other has to bring whatever they were carrying back to the van if you want to keep it.
