I actually lost to a similar team and had to make my own version. Won a lot of games on low ladder sd with muk, scovillain, grimmsnarl, goodra-h, cresselia and ursaluna. The moody strat lead into grimm switch in for screens is insane, but the team is also viable without the combo because grimm and the other three can run a bulky trick room strat. This version is definitely interesting too, committing very heavily to the gimmick

@11:00 I have had Heavy Slam fail into Flutter Mane on Showdown and have absolutely no idea why as there were no accuracy modifiers active at the time. The text even read as that the move failed and not that the Flutter avoided. does the 99.7% accuracy for 100acc moves apply to player vs player battles? Even so it wouldn't read out like that, I always assumed it was a bug.

It's better to have leftovers, slightly less healing but it allows you an option to tera fire. If you ran black sludge you wouldn't be able to tera without black sludge damaging you

I actually use black sludge on A Muk and leftovers on H Goodra on the same team. I never tera Muk so I don't have any issues

It's funny that this came out right after I built my own alolan muk team. I like mine better because it relies less on the gimmick and has a great match up into the mirror as well as a lot of common meta threats. I'll post it in the replies if anyone wants to give it a go

Why? Dozo has almost completely fallen off (barring Victory Road to Yokohama), Hands has largely shifted back to AV, Roaring Moon is only at 7% usage, Hoodra gets beat by dealing with it early on, Goltres is sub-3% usage. I could keep going but you get the point. Setup mons have largely fallen off, and the ones that do have pretty glaring issues into the top usage mons. Plus the only mons you could justifiably use for Haze right now are Chien (likes other moves), Palafin (fell off), and Murkrow (fell off more). Clear Smog has bad options too: Amoonguss (likes Puff), Gastro (likes other moves), and like Torkoal (likes other moves). So not only is there very little reason to run Clear Smog/Hare, but the users are either bad or don't have room to use it

I don’t like losing, at all, having haze can save the game. I have yet to run into a situation where I wish I had sacred sword…
