33:40 the best part, is by allowing the devil to resolve, Arin would just either lose the game, or they would be there forever. every time he pays to flicker using treasures, that puts 3 more mayhem devil triggers on the stack, going exponential as he attempts to counter them all!! if he ever stops flickering, he dies to ping damage, and wubby dies to decking himself.

Mistake number 1 was putting jodah in a game, they fucked up stasis ruling, missed 3-4 Jodah triggers, misunderstood mayhem devil, still ended the game with infinite mana/card draw. Concept was kinda cool/funny the gameplay was a nightmare, probably b/c they were distracted by the gigantic towers of cards.

@@MCXL1140 Actually, the worst trigger he missed was the Mayhem Devil. When *anyone* sacs something, the Devil pings anything for one. So buy sacrificing 3 treasure to counter it, he was adding 3 more triggers to the stack. All around silly as hell a thing to miss, let alone the huge miss on Martyr's Bond.

@@dinklebob1 They didn't have the 40whatever treasures to get him i don't think Wubby sacs his treasurese triggering his enchantment, making everyone (who has em) also sac -> X mayhem pings on the stack. Erin sacs another 3 to flicker Ertai. -> 3 pings. Mayhem dies before any of the triggers resolve -> erin is now free to make infinite mana and counter every mayhem devil ping

If it said “You and the next 3 players skip their untap step” I can see why Wubby would take it as still needing to happen 3 more times after needing to sacrifice it. As-is, I think the effect stops once it is destroyed. Or better wording would be, “Skip X untap steps, where X is equal to the number of players.”

I mean literally read the card, it says cards still do not untap until the next untap step, the next untap step is Arin's so he gets to untap. Seems like an unnecessary set of text unless phases were differently ordered in the past, the fact untap goes before upkeep means you don't even need that text.

Stasis is a static effect, so it would not be active after you sacrificed it, allowing everyone to untap like normal after the turn you sacrificed it.

Yeah, the printing he has states that "cards still do not untap until the next untap phase" is referring to the owner of stasis, just stating that if you don't pay a blue to get rid of stasis you still don't get the untap.

10:43 -11:02 Since Stasis is still in effect at the start of Wubby's turn, HIS untap step is skipped. During his upkeep phase, because Wubby didn't pay the upkeep cost for Stasis, it is sacrificed, ending its effect. Therefore, everyone else can untap their lands during their untap step.

Pretty sure Mayhem devil kills atleast eren here. Wubby didnt make a mistake, he used his massive brain to calculate the odds of drawing Mayhem devil and perfectly played around his wincon. After fooling overlord arin in saying "I can kill you" and then jokingly putting it aside, showing and purposly underplaying the god-slaying power wubby has, the plan was ready to be executed and punish arin for his arrogance, that only gods can possess (or blue player) So here comes my PHAT akchually moment. So Mayhem Devils ability says "Whenever a PLAYER sacrifices a permanent" he gets to ping someone for one. So Mayhem Devils ability says "Whenever a PLAYER sacrifices a permanent" he gets to ping someone for one. Since to use the flicker effect of emiel the blessed, three treasures are needed, resulting in three new pings of Mayhem devil, while arin might be a god at this point, he still is a player. So --> every attempt to counter Mayhem devils ability will result in 3 more triggers. ADDITIONALLY. Due to Martyrs bond, as the mastermind wubby himself has pointed out, will result in everyone sacrificing an artifact. Now I dont see how many artifacts each of them accumulated, but I am pretty sure its in sum more than 40 (given smothering tide is on the field for a while now and Dockside came in before), so Kratos Wubby here would have successfully conquered the olympus to slay the god that is arin. @@moneypowertron He can sacrifice treasures at instant speed. Therefore the ertai etb is on the stack --> wubby sacrifices a treasure in response --> he can still proceed as before. He just misses one treasure sac trigger. He can even do this on the Emil the blessed reaction, so ertai never gets flickered in the first place. But then arin could use emil again on etail. In the end you can do this game the entire time until one runs out of treasures. The question is now does arin have 3 times as much treasures as wubby has? Since wubby only needs 1 treasure to activate the loop and arin needs 3. Additionally, every treasure sac trigger that happened during this gigantic stack, would still resolve even if Mayhem devil dies beforehand, so arin would still potentially die no matter what. Again depending on the amount of treasures that were accumulated. Sidenotes: If you were to play it out like that, Mayhem devil would (peer upper described treasure sac round) triggerr 4 times because of the treasures being sacrificed. The artifact sacrifice triggers of Martyrs bond would initially not count at first, since on the stack is only the Martyrs bond trigger, which does not resolve, until this battle of nutrition would be over and the stack starts to resolve. The amount of additional triggers then depend on when Mayhem devil dies. Also, if wubby has enough tresarues, he can kill etai at the end (when arin rund out of treasures), this means that the flicker done by emil, run into nothing (remember there is no etai etb trigger, since wubby always reacts on the activation trigger of emil). Therefore Mayhem devil will never die, meaning that when the martyrs bond enchantment eventually triggers, Mayhem devil will trigger again, giving wubby more amunition (which he can no redistribute as he wants) to either heavily damage the other, wipe their boards or even kill them. Dockside can not give arin infinite treasures in this case, since no etb will resolve in this sequence. Atleast I think that is how that would resolve. Magic is a wild gamepotentially
