A lot of identifying these types of things just comes from experience. I've been at it for over 10+ years, but I'm still trying to learn all the time. H-Seams, overlapping seams, 4 gold squares on back of Pokemon Gameboy game pcbs, number stamps in labels, proper screws, etc....All just knowledge gained from experience of looking at so many real/fake games and seals over the years. Good to see the seller make it right though and kudos to them for that. Would hate to see you get burned on that. Just chalk it up as a learning experience and keep moving forward.

I was pleasantly surprised because they actually had a handful of GBA games. Now see I’m a huge RPG fan, when it comes to RPGS I know my stuff. They had a copy of Ogre Tactics the Knight of Lodis, one of my favorite games BUT it’s also a limited production. A complete copy with box and manual (which I already have) is upwards of 300$. Even just the game cart is 150-180$ depending on condition. I bought the game. Since I already had one complete in box I shipped it to my friend who collects rare games.

A re-seal at least isn't a "fake" game. So could be worse. It's actually really awesome that he let you come back after that tbh. I'm pretty sure a lot of places over here would just deny it all or something, or say it's the risk you took. Mutually beneficial resolution 4tw! As I'm also sure any questioning of the legitimacy of their sealed stock could be detrimental to their business too.

I think there’s 2 different protocols you can take to mistakes like that. When it’s a small business I feel like this is the best way to go about it because it can be harder to come back from someone expecting to have the mistake work in their favor, on the other hand if it was a big retailer I think it’s ok to make it in your favor because I’m sure they have the resources to recoup their losses.
