Awesome video man, I like the comparison between the two versions of class A’s Lionel did. The Class A is my favorite Steam engine as well, I have the same one as well and yours looks great on your layout sir! Awesome job again and hope to see more N&W action!

I wonder if you saw old movies of these monsters being double headed pulling freight.Now as train man I rode behind 611.From Spencer NC to Lynchburg VA.I will never forget 611 deep deep whistle..My home town railroad was the Seaboard Air Line . They had some 2-6-6-4 for freight. Not as big N&W thou.You got a great runner.Just remember they pulled mixed freights to..

Yeah I love looking at the old videos of them having multiple locomotives on one train and even a lot of times having a Y6 as a pusher on the back. And yes I love 611 as well I have been on multiple excursions behind her as well as been at the throttle last year that was an incredible experience

@@Highrollers_Roads_N_Rails I have a MTH railking 611.She will pull a nice sized freight train.How ever I as a child saw boxcars from the 1940 and 1950.With the railroads emblems.Heck I even seen wooden boxcars with steel bracing.Back then it was GP 9 and GP 7.My first school was right beside the tracks..Back then fast freight mean fast freight.Which meant 65 mph sometimes 70 mph.If only I had a camera and took pictures.

Nice engine. My most expensive locomotive was the Lionel Vision Line 4014 Big Boy oil burning version from the 2023 Catalog. I got it from Hennings Trains for $2,520.

I happened to notice that the lubricator linkage on the rear left engine is out of place. The link connected to the combination lever should be parallell to the ground, not sticking straight up. In other words, it should be in the same position as the lubricator linkage on the front engine. One other thing, the rods on the 1218 are correct. Only the last five Class A's received the roller bearing rods.
@Highrollers_Roads_N_Rails4 ай бұрын
Interesting I'm gonna have to look into why it's like that and I didn't know that about the roller bearings. Thanks for the information!
