Just because it's the most expensive does not mean it's necessarily the best. Props to Raina for remaining professional and respectful but I totally was not feeling a couple things thrown into this dish. It's not even pho at this point. It's an entirely different meal. Anyways, hats off to the chef and to Raina. Looking forward to watching more!

Other countries that also have similar "pho" noodle dish puts in tomatoes and other meats. Just because you only are familiar with one kind, don't knock it.

10 times out of 10 Genuine Vietnamese phở doesn’t have tomatoes in it. I’m half Vietnamese from the US and I have never once had pho served at a Vietnamese restaurant or any restaurant for the matter that included tomatoes. Never.

If you have watched her over the years, you can see the more anxious she is or nervous about the challenge, you’ll see her need the napkins repeatedly. I think it’s more of a comfort for the anxious feelings she’s experiencing. The repetition seems to be a little bit calming effect. Also another viewer points out some textures seem to push her need to wipe and repeat the wipe up. A good example might be if it’s oily! She wants to wipe the oil away. But over the years some viewers have noticed her napkin use and said everything from she’s removing food to simply being wasteful. I try not to judge or be rude . However when it’s questioned I do try to offer some insight I’ve noticed over the years. She’s not removing food with the napkins, that I’ve ever seen. She seems to have to use a set number of the small napkins to make a sufficient size to wipe her full face. Then lastly as one person indicated certain textures are more likely to make her wipe more frequently. Lastly it may be a simple coping mechanism or technique when the challenge is more difficult. By difficult I mean an oily texture for example . The oil added to a pho challenge seemed to bother her. If I remember correctly it was because it was a different texture than what she was used to. She didn’t complain. She just wiped her mouth more often. I hope that helps those not understanding why she uses the napkins see other possible reasons for the usages

Raina was so disappointed with this Pho! 😔 Overcooked seafood is and very oily broth is the reason for all the napkins. When Raina doesn't like the food her easiest trick in the book for disposal is napkins. If this was tasty she wouldn't have used any, trust me... Who puts tomatoes 🍅 in Pho? 🍜 😂
