You should get like those hunting cameras or trail cameras or whatever they are called! Then have them hiding on tree and have it faced towards where you put the battery for your fence and put one facing where you put your water tubs at! Then the ppl who steal from you can actually be held responsible bc you will have proof of them on camera!!! I think that's a brilliant idea! Lol Thanks for sharing hun!! 😊😊

Had to laugh at the bee story, because it happened to me too 😂 But my bee decided to land between my legs and stung me in my tight when I pressed the clutch. I had very itchy swelling for weeks. Dealing with people must be the most frustrating aspect of farming. I'm preparing to start my own farm next year. My land is surrounded by wilderness and when I talked to neighbors, they warned me about wolves and lynxes. I told them I'm much more worried about people. I can put up a fence to keep predators away, but these lowlives can steal it and sell it for scrap metal, how do I protect myself from that?🙄

Maybe you could ask the senior dog owner if you could electric wire up his yard for a week, to keep his dog in. You'd have to make it 6 strand not 2, but likely be very effective. Pretty sad people have to steal, I hope you reported the theft to the local police, as having the battery to your electric fence stolen, puts your sheep at risk and the general public if the sheep go out on the road.

Strip out the guts of your electric fencer, wire it up to a big fireworks rocket with the stick cut off. And wait for some low life to steal it. You can sit at home happy to know some one is in for a surprise when they try connecting it to a battery
