The anchor isn't solid gold just so everyone is clear. This is because while gold is expensive it's also a soft metal. So the anchor is more likely plated in gold. While being made of steel. If the ship exists at all. Knowledge of metallurgy is a good ideal to know when someone claims their yatch has a solid gold anchor.

@@lawrencegroves8307 I'm saying gold is a soft metal . Meaning solid gold is easily worked . Which is not good for the application of a anchor . So it's likely electro plated like gold cars are. This is an expensive process but it's not one solid piece of gold due to the qualities of gold thar make it easily worked. The use to make gold coins by taking a piece of gold putting it on a anvil that had one side of the coins design on it and taking a hammer that had the other sides design and simply hitting it with the hammer. That's how soft gold is.
