People forget that Carr passed for 5,083 yds and 50 TDs at Fresno State his final year. Averaged over 400 yda and 4 TDs per game LoL. He's also a 4x pro bowler. He is the type of QB that really shines in a modernized playaction west coast influenced scheme.

I heard someone else say that also why would they change their offense?

@@BigR365 the new offense maximizes EVERYONE on the field… we won ugly last season getting a lot of ppl injured now we can score smooth and easy and rest starters in the 4th to minimize injuries.. we can potentially have a top 3 offense and defense this season if everyone stay healthy… we shut out 2 teams so far without our pro bowl corner Lattimore 😮💨

Yo my man, finally a reaction video where there is play/formation/scheme analysis and commentary. Saints fan here, we knew the minute we signed kubiak as OC that we would finally have a dynamic offense, with constant motioning, adequate protection for Carr, Kamara healthy would have a resurgence, TE utilization and finally we would see our WR's make plays down the field. Olave and Shaheed will be a Top 5 duo WR in the League this year. Defense is once again stellar, with Chase Young being a sneaky signing and our secondary is Top 5 in the League. Don't sleep on us drafting Kool-Aid McKinstry and Lattimore didn't even play in the game. Honey Badger WILL BE a Pro Bowler this year with him being able to hunt balls bc of teams having to throw the ball to come from behind and/or match Saints scoring output. Not to mention still got Demario Davis hawking in the middle with Cam Jordan on the end, who will have a good year and have opportunities to improve his sack numbers from a year ago. But, again, DONT SLEEP ON THE SECONDARY! Wish we could of flown under the radar for a few more games to allow Carr having little pressure from a spotlight perspective to focus on the one glaring trait that has always held him back from being a top-tier QB in this league-- consistency. Hopefully, the offense itself and Kubiak's play calling guides Carr to limit mistakes and simplifies the mental processing Carr has to perform play to play. If he plays within the system and doesn't become a maverick, Carr will have the stats to make the Pro Bowl, coupled with winning games. As always, health will be a factor as we don't necessarily have the depth to withstand key and/or multiple players out with injuries. Such is the case when management keeps mortgaging the future as it relates to yearly salary cap manipulation. Fingers crossed. Nonetheless, love the content my man, keep it up and will be a regular every week to see you breakdown Saints play. Glad to see someone who instantly recognizes that all we needed was a OC who could maximize the production of the personnel that was already on the team through offensive ingenuity, scheme and timely play calling with down and distance being a key indicator of success. I'm cautiously optimistic about our postseason chances. Now that teams will be paying keen attention to the possibilities the offense can exhibit, it will be on Kubiak and Derek to keep the chains moving... I want to see Carr in a tight game, 4th quarter, in a possession where his QB play is under the microscope and how he performs will be the indicator if this team has Super Bowl chops. Derek finally has everything he needs to show what he can do against the league. Consistency will define his worth this year.

What I see is an offensive line doing their job...just look at that O.Lineman keep up with Kamar on that short pass! Since when do you see an O. Linemen sprinting down the field! Let me say this, the Saints O. Linemen are in top shape...no coming into camp 30-40 lbs overweight! If the O. Linemen stay healthy...Teams are going to have trouble with the Saints Offense!

I ain’t gonna lie, I’m probably one of the biggest Derek Carr defenders on this platform, but 2022 was a bad year for Derek, so getting rid of him kinda made sense Kinda being the operative word, I could see where the Carr haters were coming from(those ints were brutal, especially against the Steelers), but Everybody else knew Mcdanials was the problem, and the Grappolo signing to replace Carr🤮 To clarify, I wish the raiders kept Carr, and fired mcdanials instead, but everybody wrongfully blamed the season on Carr, so Mcdanials had another half season to disappoint us. Edit: Also yea Pete was garbage for the saints, their offense is literally night and day better than they were last year, they literally lead the league in points right now.

It's exciting to see Carr finally finding a place to park and thrive. NFC South definitely on notice and the league in general. I didn't really even know why I picked the 'aints as a sleeper passively scouting pre season, but it's always compelling when you recall New Orleans was from the original NFC West which has produced many of the most exciting technically sound entertaining and physically gifted dominant teams, performances, and players in the history of league history. All but the Panthers in the south were from the old west lol. When they good they jus different. And they best it seems running WalshCoast schemes. NFC West NFC Best

bro, i really enjoy this video. i have never seen a reaction video break down like this. to add one more thing to think about with this offense. this team still have not touched base with being creative with the swiss army Taysom yet. yes he played a few spots but no team in the league right now have someone like Taysom who can play all positions on that offense. i can see one day he will drop back and let a few rip deep or even fake run drawing in all the defenders only to screen pass it. this offense can be super creative. stay tune sir. once again i love this video.

@BigR365 Because Stinky Pete was a loser and his schemes were terrible Klient is letting the saints build off of what they were doing last season near the end of the season the players from what I heard in a interview the other day Klient is a very chill guy wanting to use the players to their strengths want to also know some other fact Ever since Dennis Allen has taken part in the saints defense the Saints have only allowed given 23 bad games since 2015 of 29 or more points which isn't terrible in the regular season right my guy.

How bad was Pete Carmichael last year? Through the entire season Pete didn’t call a single play with 2 RBs on the field. You talking about Kubiak using the players to the most of their potential, Pete didn’t even know that Kamara can catch the ball outside of swing routes.

That’s horrible it’s crazy how a OC can literally change the projectory of a team
@goobcutusofborg3357Күн бұрын
@@BigR365 so true. A really unique thing that Kubiak is doing is using Taysom Hill as either a TE, WR, FB or HB on a consistent basis to keep teams in their base D but changes the formation without changing players to cause mismatches. For example, they’ll come out in a 21 formation with Hill as a FB, then the next play come out in an 11 formation with Hill as WR, causing a mismatch with a LB having to cover Hill.
