You can tell Sid was sponsored for this video, the arches do NOT blend it well at all. I think the car looks a bit chav like in my humble opinion but each to their own. The car itself is awesome to drive though On a side note, that cheeky slide though loving that haha

It has a twin scroll turbo, not variable vane turbo, they are normally used on diesels

Head gasket and deck warping on the top of the block causing coolant leaks which hydro lock motors. It’s a serious design flaw. Ford supposedly addressed the issue but we’ll see

Chris Dooley little bit incorrect it was the head gasket from the 2.3L eco boost mustang engine head gasket was accidentally put on the focus by accident they were recalled and repaired full stop

Bad quality. 1:20 on. Notice how badly the front wide arches line up with the extension onto the bumper? That's why it looks tacky and cheap, it kind of is. Same sort of thing on the rears at 2:49, how the arch doesn't really blend. It sort of changes angle like a lump glued on and then fades into the bumper. Poor.

The new edition Rs which has been released recently has more than just a satin black roof but it is just aesthetic modifications/changes. It has the black roof, new alloys and it's got a new type of seats. I think the standard Rs looks a lot better than the 'edition' though.

Lovely car but this engine issue is a worry being a 30 grand motor. I've heard changing the coolant to a waterless version cures it but think it could be more than that.

Id like to see a video review of the ford focus range starting 2006 build to the 2018 build, thus giving time to highlight some flaws if any arise? I think they should be un modified motors for a fair test type review. im 90% certain that the 2007 pre facelift will tick more boxes with its simplistic dashboard, engine reliability as standared, and having mine the ugliest fast ford ever to ones eye, even to ones ear the lack of dump valve and standared exhaust dosnt turn heads. xx

There's no "500hp Mk2". My guess is you probably thought of RS500 when you said that, which is completely wrong. Focus RS500 designation was referring to 500 units produced, not 500hp, because it had 345hp.

Not keen on the wide arches. Looks like its trying too hard. Maybe it looks better in person? Id definitely upgrade to one from my VXR. Living in Yorkshire with the B roads we have around here. I think it might be one of the best "real roads" cars out there at the minute. I Imagine its a proper B road killer. Like what the old STI is.

Not keen at all, whole point of the mk3 was to appeal to an older generation too, hence the 4 doors and subtle styling compared to the mk2. Forged internals will not solve the engine issues. Closed deck mod is needed for starters imo.

Wide bumper cover to match wide body. looks like its not finish, the company need to go all out and get a nice flowing design. wide bumper to match, seeing tyre where body should be mud will cover that area.
