The fact that you are focusing your vlogs on crafts, master craftsmen is amazing. What you are showing and documenting is art, in it's purest form. Fashion, shoes, clothing is art, and you are a great documenter of art. Thank you. Merci, c'est geniale!

I can't thank you enough Mr. Prigent for allowing us to see this magnificent art that takes place. I watched Signe Chanel many years ago and today its still my favourite documentary by far. I'm a seamstress and it was so captivating and motivating to have a chance to look behind the scenes of the making of the collections. It reinforced my love for dressmaking. When people ask why designer shoes are so expensive.....because this.
@chrish7334 жыл бұрын
Nope. This is just the prototype making for the fashion show. Once a style of shoes is decided to go into production, they will be made in a production factory. Not entirely hand made like this video.
@michelgomes14264 жыл бұрын
@@chrish733 Nope, sorry. This is Métiers d'Art, there is no factory or large-scale production here. Every single piece is meticulously made by hand in one Chanel atelier skilled in the art of craftmenship in Paris. The Métiers d'Art collections intends to illustrate the exceptional savoir-faire and work of artisans, thus being non-commercial and inaccessible to most people.

A pair of shoes made by Monsieur Jacques and his team on your feet would no doubt bring one joy, especially knowing how much love and effort and expertise are placed into making them. Quel talent admirable. C'est beau, c'est classe, c'est Massaro... C'est Chanel! Merci Loïc Prigent :)
