Best Raiden overview ive seen so far. I feel a lot of people are really negative about her recently , which in my opinion doesnt make sense since she pretty much opens up your account to many team options even if she isnt a premier DPS. The interruption resistance, driver , and DPS all in her base hit is already good. I didnt have her before this patch, but am loving her now. She really enables a lot of funny teams too!

Her main strength is being a very flexible carry in abyss. You dont have to worry about enemy comp in abyss because she is very great dps in hyperbloom, raiden national, hypercarry, and overload team. My c2 w/ skyward spine raiden always cleared abyss for me.😊

Xingqiu is a great example of a comfort unit that also does 300k damage per rotation and shreds 15% hydro, and even he is slowly falling out of meta because his defensive utility isn't very needed for enemies that hit like a wet sponge.

The only use of 'hyperbloom' Raiden I find compelling is running quickbloom Tighnari with Furina. I can also slip in Raidens burst during Tighnari's downtime. Using Ballad of the Fjords for an EM/Crit build on her so the damage isn't nothing.

This is just my take (and was such a short part of the video anyway), but the only team I can really see Raiden's c4 and c6 being somewhat useful (and that's if you're going for her cons in the first place) is Raiden National (the Xingqiu variant specifically) because Raiden would buff Xiangling's and Xingqiu's damage (and even then only part of the time so pretty jank) and decrease Xiangling's burst cooldown, because we all know how long that is. But otherwise definitely still pretty meh and you should only go for them if you have nothing better to do and a lot of disposable income.

Am I the only one who find c6 usefull because now you need more than 1 rotation to kill floors and c6 make the 2nd rotation way smoother sara has an awkward CD with raiden 20 sec against 18 sec which makes you pause for 2 sec for nothing. It's not good especially for a c6 but It's not as useless as people say it is. It helps shorten the time between dps rotation so it should "sheet" but not sure if anyone actually seriously sheeted this

Not really. You’ll have to build more er on Diluc on as you have no Bennett and don’t get the C6 infusion meaning you have to burst. Also a res shred and damage bonus is not much compared to Bennett + Noblesse

I’ve been puzzled about the energy regeneration from Raiden’s burst. If my Raiden has 270% Energy Recharge (ER), that translates to around 25 flat energy regeneration during her burst. So, why is it that my ultimate is nearly ready as soon as her burst ends? Does the ER multiplier affect this regeneration again? Thanks for any insights!

She has a 50% chance to generate an electro particle for every E tick. Particles are 3x as effective on same type element while on field. Since she has 270ER you are getting around 8 energy for each particle picked up. Within her around 9s~ window assuming 5 ticks of her E hit which is half that would be 40 energy generated. 90-25(flat loss)-40 = 25 energy left left to fill. This can also be more depending on how lucky you get with the particle generation. Any off field turret abilities like Yae/Fischl/Furina. And enemy particles as enemies will drop particles when they lose a certain amount of hp or are defeated. So to answer your question the er multiplier doesn’t affect her flat regen you are just catching same element particles on a high er character.

It suggests that her Elemental Skill can actually generate more Energy for herself than her burst can (and a little bit more for the team) , provided we get a bit lucky with those chances.

Raidens c4 seems to be pretty good for (duel carry) raiden/eula teams. (especially if u r running this duo without benny). My raiden has been c3 r1 since her second banner( i believe) , and i still use eula in abyss a pretty fair amount..so i was thinking i might get her c4 one day when i am on 50/50. (If i lose the 50/50 i will stop). Will it be worth the wishes ? FUCK NO, but hey, if there is a raiden re run around the time where im not interested in any units..why not? Baal is the definition of "anything i do anyone can do Better"she's meant to give energy?favonious exist,she buffs burst dmg?furina buffs overall dmg, elettro application in dendro team?fischl or kuku does it better,can't break shield with her skill since it doesn't proc and the only way to break shields with her if you need elettro is her burst (and she's garbage at that too) on c0 her burst does less dmg than 1 kinich cannon (let's also count that his fist passive which gives 320% scaling on it can stack twice can't be proc yet for the lack of natlan characters)or either an arlecchino auto,a neuvilette charge and the list goes on(even gaming hits more than her) for perform decently she needs c2r1 sara c6 with skiward harp,bennet c5 with missplitter/aquila favonia and cheuv c6 (maybe also her sister i won't doubt it cause being worse then mid it's kinda rough especially when after all that you still get outcleared by c0 dps characters nice job)Atleast zhong has his uses he doesn't do shit except shredding def with his shield and making you lose overall dmg but atleast he keeps you alive if his shield doesn't get 1 tap.The only one who says she's broken are 2 types of people the first are her simps the second one are the one who over invest on her but didn't with other characters.

Over the two years I invested on C2R1 Ei and Miko not because I like them (they are seriously bland characters like kazowa) but cause they are the only electro I could ever need which was proven by the disappointing new ones until the new support girl,personally I still think Nahida is best archon for value but but happy this one didn’t fall off like venti

Yeah , just as how venti is the shit archon and zhongli after him. Raiden is in the middle , right after nahida and furina. Though considering how most of the 2.0 and 1.0 5 stars are just out right unplayable nowdays bar xiao ,hu tao and kazuha. The later will loose his value next patch and the others are still below raiden overall. I dare say she still hold ups. Being the 'MID' archon isnt exactly a bad thing.

I use Yae, Nahida, Fischl, and Baizhu/Zhongli. But when I don't want to get interrupted, I use Raiden instead of Yae and it works good.
