I know this review is old, but would you trust to put the Canon G7x Mark ll on the UFO 2 and wrap it around the bars of a bike basket and trust it to ride?
@MR.Mehran614 жыл бұрын
Thanks a lot. I changed my mind from "no I wouldn't buy it", to "I'll buy it". Very helpful. I want it for both my cellphone and my Conon S65 Camera, which is fairly lighter than of yours on the video.

Great video, was going to buy the Joby now i am not sure i should. I ended up buying the Fotopro UFO2 and LOVE IT !! only draw back isn't cannot be used vertically. I had an entire trip and used this tripod.. had it hanging on trees, set on rocks it was wonderful. But I ended up losing it on the last day😭😓😖😬, will have to buy another

The Ulanzi MT-11 is like this but much better because it has notches to pivot 180 for portrait/landscape, plus a cooler mount that does both 1/4-20 AND phone clamp all in one, plus a quick release shoe on top, plus another 1/4-20 tap on the side for more accessories. Way better than the Fotopro and in the same price ballpark.

The exact same tripod is the: GooFoto but ‘must’ be the ‘silver’ version. I paid just over £13 on Amazon UK. It’s a brilliant bit of kit!

So basically the $20 tripod did the same thing as a $200 tripod... possibly has better durability... and it DEFINITELY has better grip on the legs!
@caiushiticas46194 жыл бұрын
Billdozer Experience not really. It’s a piece of crappy aluminum wire that will break in no time. Also that ball head is of a much worse quality that the jobi. If u want to use a phone once every second month on that thing, should be just fine.
@ryanwalter40596 жыл бұрын
a lot of people have been complaining about the jobys because they end up breaking near the top near the ball joints so that top part isn't very durable and they need to really redesign the Joby tripod because what they're actually doing it's just taking advantage of peoples money because when someone pays for a good brand tripod you want it to last not end up breaking just under a year later

It looks like it might be nice for a vlogging camera, such as my Canon M100, but I don't think I would put my 5D Mark IV on that.

I have the Jobi Gorillapod, and do you remember the image of a 1DIII(?) with a large lens on a pier hanging over the sea, from about 10years ago? I would never be comfortable doing that with mine! I find it perfect though just to have it on the back of my bag if I ever go out without a tripod and then I can stick it on the car's bonnet or some other surface. As this tends to be with lighter analogue cameras I’m finding the idea of a slimmer type that’s in some ways more pliable very appealing. Even if it isn’t as hard wearing it’s not a great deal to lose, I’m sure that my Gorillapod was a lot more.
@Eric_Rossi6 жыл бұрын
I feel something like this will work for almost anything, but alone by size, of course it cant hold a ton of weight. But its more portable and super light

A lot of people don't sate this point in review videos. I have noticed using several GoPro with no external microphone on a joby ball socket tripod for blogging. Is this, the damn balls when held in the hand translate a plastic very anoying squeaking noise to my vids and is very distracting! Time to give the Fotopro UFO 2 Flexible Tripod a try.

Damn it looks like Fotopro is a dead company or in serous trouble. All items sold out on their official website and nearly all active contact methods have been removed. Any one got any confirmation on the health of Fotopro? Don't want to buy old stock from Amazon to find out the manufacture is dead even though Amazon would refund a shitty item if it breaks.
