ive been running this setup for a couple days now and its good but some weaknesses it has are inside zone runs and my safeties have a high chance of getting beat overtop if they have a fast wr on the outside

Ever since the patch, safeties retreat too slowly to run double safety go. Inside thirds and quarters get ran by if they are less then 10 yards from line of scrimmage

This happens on occasion and only against certain sets. Use inside quarters and they will never get ran by.

I like the video, but I feel like it would be better if you explained the *why* behind how the pressures work from a schematic perspective. Explain to people how the front forces base 5-0 protection and who are offenses how reads are, etc etc. The casual football watcher/madden player doesn’t know the details behind how a pressure is built, and without that more in depth information, you get comments like the first comment in the thread, talking about Madden being “cheesy”

I feel them out. If they’re blocking cover 6 Willie I’ll switch to either edge blitz or DB fire. Willie will be my primary blitz.

When I created the video SS Zone blitz was still a viable blitz. Post-patch it isn’t. That means you’re 100% correct. I would replace it with DB fire.

Y when u pinch your d-line the blitzing slot corner runs to the opposite side how do u stop that from happening

It happens on certain plays, ensure pinching your DL is not your first adjustment to prevent this from ever happening.

It’s mad easy for the edge blitz block rb and half slide towards the direction of the blitz. For the Willie blitz block rb and Id the will as the Mike and for db fire block rb and go into empty protection

@@junbugmax4700 the blitz screams ngl, it can get ran on a little but it did good versus inside but outside runs did get some yards but he was mostly down the whole game so he pretty much passed, the cover 4 boxed everything and he tried to run w rodgers and got strip sacked and then the cover 6 got a free rushers and popped him the next time he had the ball, it’s definitely good im just gonna have to add me stuff to the scheme
