The Most Fun Cruiser we've Ever Ridden, Indian Scout Demo at Vintage Motorcycle Days

We were all giggling like little school girls on these bikes! These bikes are so light weight its hard to believe they are 1133cc's. This is the most cc's i have personally ever ridden. It was impressive!

Thank you for an honest assessment of the Rogue. I want to order one but I am having reservations about the shallow 29 degree lean angle. I saw the curve where you scraped and I concur with you that it was not that sharp for the pegs to be hitting. I know its not meant to be for the twisties but by the same token I don't want to wear down the pegs on what appear to be slight inclines.

I mean they are cool bikes and really fast. I personally would go for an Indian dresser.

Well, that was different! Had a bit of fun, did you? Aside from that peg scraping stuff, anyway. I know what you mean with the control position; I really liked the look of the Scout when it was introduced, but when I sat on one at a show it was an instant "no". I just can't live with forward controls personally, they feel wrong to me. I went by a local Harley dealer a while back when the FXD-R came out, just to see if they had one to look at, and ended up getting a demo ride; damn near made a fool of myself before I got out of the parking lot when I missed the pegs at first! That bike was surprisingly nimble, and hellishly strong, but aside from the pegs being so far forward, the air filter forces your right leg out a few inches further than I find comfortable, so I'd never get one. The Ducati Diavel is an absolute hoot to ride (try one if you get a chance), but the more cruiser-oriented X-Diavel with its forward controls just feels wrong to me. Just not a cruiser guy.
