Amazing Video. I do have a question though. For a setup that have a break gas and clutch pedal. Does the Wheel mount get in the way?

I really appreciate you mentioning sizing. I'm 6ft 7 at around 95kg (lean) so sizing, shoulder width and weight comfort are top of my list. I would like the seat, but I feel my size would be compromised and I wouldn't want to spend time and money just to find out.

I’d say at your height it just wouldn’t work. A couple of my friends who are 6’ 3 struggled in it tbf.

Ryan-Thomas im 6’4” and am about to get this seat. I’m the same weight as you lol, I’m pretty skinny so the seat should be fine for me as I’ve read that the seat can accommodate all the way up around 6’6”-6’7”. But my question is, the regular playseat evolution is £235 and the alcantara variant is £265. Would you say the alcantara is worth the extra £30?

Im a huge fan of sim racing and I been eyeing the playseat out for a while. Yesterday I got it and set it up, abit dissapointed. My steering wheel shaft is really rocky, with only one adjuster to secure it to the main shaft. shoving the velcro into the 3mm gap was the only way i could kind of fix it. I mean its better but one point to secure the shaft is a downfall and I dont think it will last long before its too lose. I hope my issue is isolated as I havn't seen a review yet with the same problem. contacted Playseat, so hope for a permanent fix. I agree, this unit is great and the one gripe I have is fixable.

Nice video but very dark at times. Your talking head portions are lit well but showing dark things against a dark thing in the back in a dark area doesn't show very well. Having the steering wheel so low like that, you'd be hitting your knees with you hand on turns. Does it not interfere with your turns?

I never played racing games, since I don't have the steering wheel and the pedal and since it will take a lot of spaces in my small room and the cheap one are junk. so i figure nope, not for me Amazing review as always Though it would be better if you show how huge is it when the seat are tuck away Otherwise... yeah anyway Guys C'mon only 2 comments now? (at the time of writing this comment)

Sorry but the only reason I have been looking into this is to secure my load cell pedals and seat. If the seat is going to slide under high pressure braking then there's no point in this whatsoever for me.

Just drill a hole and it won't move at all. It's not the entire unit that moves, it's the pedal tray

I have a gt omega chassis, no central strut to get in the way, I'm a big bloke and I can get in easy, oh and cheaper than the playseat...
