This is me. I made a center who has 93 mid 85 3 and no one passes. I have a clip of being wide open for 14 seconds of the shot clock and not getting the ball. I had to sacrifice strength and rebounding for shooting. Makes me want to make another build. My kryptonite are these inside bigs he’s using in the video since I can’t excel with what my guys best at

Playing center is absolutely tough! Running into a build like your center causes nightmares for me because of positioning and how hard it is to stay in good box out position. You're either having a great game or getting dog walked as a center. No in between😂! Keep doing what you do bruh! Love the content!

the issue isn't inside bigs the issue is inside bigs that don't have a single post move to their game dont have standing dunk and just want to sit in the paint the entire game backing down the other big just to miss the layup or pass it back out after wasting 15s on the clock

As a guard, I don't have any issues with inside bigs but a lot of rec pgs don't like to run pick & roll so most inside bigs don't have anywhere else to go so of course they're gonna stay around the basket for dumpoffs and oboard put backs

I hate players who say standing dunk takes no skill, while the dunk takes little to no skill getting in the correct position,squaring up to the hoop and then deciding what type of dunk to use(Dunk Meter up down or down up,Square or stick dunk) takes heaps of skill and practice to be good at as you have just under 3 secs to make all this happen

Center is the 2nd most important position in the game, but the easiest positiom to play. If you make an inside big, you have to set screens constantly and roll selectively (unless the big guarding you is sweet, then roll every time and get a bucket). If you just paint sit or spot up outside of your shooting range, then your matchup kills the paint for the rest of your team, and you effectively shut down your own offense. I make a big man every year just for when I get sick of losing games because of the randoms letting their matchup grab 20+ boards cuz they let them live in the paint. GET YOUR MATCHUP OUT THE DANG PAINT!!!

Center is definitely not the easiest position to play. It is in my opinion the hardest. You have to learn to anticipate for cuts, rebounds, passes to the perimeter, when to play help defense, etc. Also on top of that you literally have the shittiest of bases to shoot with and with the slowest timing so you have a higher chance at getting contested more. It's not hard to put up points or get assists, but to be the difference maker in winning games it is almost as hard as the point guard position. Easiest position by far is the 2. Oh no, you have to sit in a corner the whole game and shoot when passed to? Soooo challenging.

Center is definitely not the easiest to play. A center that plays good defense, spaces the floor, sets good screens and grabs the boards is a huge difference. Having a center that plays bad defense makes it so much harder to win.

@@alexandermeiering5216 Everything you said supports my claim that it's the 2nd most important position. I've played center every year since 2K15. It's always the easiest position to play. Guard the big man, grab boards, and keep your defensive matchup out of the paint. It's so boring but I make a center every year because it's almost impossible to win with a bad center. I'd rather play on my lockdown forward or pure scorer guard, but rec randoms are ass.

@@carter5377 And you need skill to do all of those things. The guy above me explains it perfectly. Center isnt just grabbing boards and setting screens. And I mean not to be offensive but especially you as a big should know that. Thats why the difference between a bad and a great center is so huge, cause there is a way higher skill ceiling. Thats why people who are new to the game or just bad players should not play as the point guard or the center. And I say this as somebody who always plays SF or PF. Most of the time im just asked to guard somebody on the 3 point line or deny cuts.

I have a purple Diming interior threat. Great for 3’s. Bt I have to have good guards that know how to play basketball and hit shots in order for us to win. They’ll start blaming me because they don’t have a middy or can’t hit consistent 3’s. I’m constantly setting picks on ball and off ball to get everyone else open. I pull my Center out in Pro am and we go on 10 game win streaks, Bt that’s because the guard and the team know what we’re doing.

I play center. I have a shooting center (I rarely get the ball. I'm just there to be a decoy for closeted rim runners who can't shoot), but I usually run with my 6'8 Paint Beasts (Pure lock or the hook master). I get all types of hate until they see my play style. I don't clog the paint because I'm either setting screens on ball or off ball and I am getting putback dunks. Honestly, I don't want to shoot the ball. My style is to lock up, rebound, pass to the shooters, get steals, and dunk on mfs. I don't need to shoot the ball. Folks who usually complain aren't killers on the court. I look at stats before the game, and if I see the PG and SG have low points per game AND an under 40% 3-point percentage, I already know what they are going to do.
