Idk if this would be better or worse. Make Duchess have 12-15 daggers but reduce their damage to only one shot skeles. Her unique trait is burst damage, this makes it more extreme by giving her a better burst but a far worse time during reload. Maybe even increase shot speed or reducing reload time to still give her a fighting chance.

No one is mentioning the dutchess is frustrating because it basically removed the interaction of going back and forth with tempo in clash, counter your giant with minipekka and now minipekka is full hp going down their lane, they must respond or lose tower, now they can just soak it or if they have 1 level on your towers, its even more unfair.

The balance change she recently got makes her more annoying in my opinion. The old dagger duchess was a well designed card with clear counter play, but she was just over-tuned. She was very strong and could deal with many cards by herself, but when out of ammunition she was essentially a non issue, so getting her to waste her ammunition and then using your win condition was the counter. Obviously this favored beatdown type decks because the tanks could survive the initial barrage and once she was out of ammo it would be impossible for her to finish off the tank and the rest of the support troops by herself, but other decks could outplay the reload mechanic. The new update, which reduced her damage and increased her reload speed, essentially made her just like the princess tower but with a little more upfront damage. In fact, as of now she has higher dps than the princess tower WHEN OUT OF AMMUNITION. Why supercell essentially buffed the best tower troop is beyond me, they just put her in an unhealthier state than she already was.

My experience so far has been meh. Trail and error you will find a deck that your comfy with at dealing with them hog rider and battle ram has been working. Many people I just stuck on certain cards honestly. I use canonier as well

Troop towers WAS a mistake. All cards were build to have a normal interaction with princess towers. Swarm cards like goblins,skeletons etc. Are ok to be killed fast and easy. But hog rider,ballons killed BY the tower? Thats not ok

The dagger duchess made every battle a one sided fight. I have been trying to play the events and every battle is just the dagger duchess. And the pay to win aspect just makes it worse I can’t win or finish the events especially the draft battles. If I can give one piece of advice is to not play the game anymore until they either rebalance the game or remove tower troops completely, but honestly I don’t know why I started playing clash royal after 5 years just to see how far it went down hill and into a dumpster fire of a game.

I think in order to make her work it's her damage needs to be one quarter of princess and reload time takes 10 seconds and finally when she starts firing off her daggers it doesn't matter if there's an enemy troop or not she has to unload all of her daggers all at once. DD is just way too good at defending. a mini-tank is coming? and here it's gone, now she needs to reload. swarms? yes they are most likely gone. full on tank? immensely effective against them. i saw that in the way i play: usually like placing hog + goblin gang to dead damage to the tower, usually i let the hog out first to tank for the goblins (in princess) and with cannoneer i place the hog right in the middle of the gang in order to have some goblins go down but increase the time of the hog attack but now i have to use the goblins first a cannon folder to end her ammo and the hog still ends up at half HP (Dutch's)

What I don't like is that you are saying that supercell is like ea but supercell is not, they do care about the game they aren't these masterminds who want to make the entire fan base hate them because if they did they would not make the money they so desperately wants like every other company, a company's job is to make money and cannot work as well for a relatively small to medium sized company if people hate the company, they don't have the clout like ea or Ubisoft where they can sell shovelwhere level games at full price and still make big profits despite them being arguably the most hated companies in the us and abroad, supercell needs to make money and yes they may do bad things either intentionally or unintentionally but they aren't any worse than any other company their size especially since they are a mobile game company which requires many different considerations due to the point of phone games, to get addicted to the game and spend ungodly amounts of money aka the whales.
