Just so you know, Garrett, "Bob's your uncle" isn't just for getting places, it could be for any instruction. Like, if I showed you how to make a cup of tea, I might say, "Then, finally, add you milk, Bob's your uncle and Fanny's your aunt". It's basically saying you've successfully accomplished what you were intending to do.

Liverpool is up there in the top 3 best cities in England to visit, Behind perhaps Newcastle and York. So much character and history around the docks. I grew up there and its great to see you guys goin around all my old "locals" I'm surprised you managed to get on so well with accents going from Glaswegian to Scouse in one day must have played havoc with your heads.

Just for Garrett to add onto his slang journal, the full saying in Scotland is "Bobs yer uncle and Fannys yer Aunt" but alot of people just say for short Bobs your/yer uncle.
