bought one a few years ago and just discovered it in the storage closet, unopened. i opened, charged it, and the LED screen lights up but the lamp won't turn on. the buttonless buttons don't work.

There is a way to turn the display on and off.... hold down the DOWN key until you hear a beep..... same thing to turn it back on..... the battery is only for a backup in case of power outages.... for those who display isn't working... try holding down the down key... hold approximately 5 seconds....hear the beep... hope this helps !

mine also turns back on the display with the ^ (up) button/key

after two years I had to change battery. All re-set and works perfectly, except I can't change the temperature back to F from C. Can you please advises how to change temp to F?

Mine still works after 4yrs. Although, just now clock went out. Changed the battery and still not working...SUX!! Great lamp though!!

Behind if you hold the S button for a couple of seconds it will allow you to change from 24hr to 12hr no problem.

Even the presenter is at a loss - notice how he quickly bypasses that part. I think if you set it correctly it opens one of the 7 pits of HELL and releases PinHead and his Cenobite minions.

mine lasted all 3 years of school. still works. they are not super durable though, quite palsticy
