I love Al-‘Abbas bin ‘Abdul-Muttalib, the Uncle and Father-Figure of Rasul Allah SallAllahu ‘alayHi wa AaliHi waSallam. The word, ‘sinw’, used in the hadith ‘ammul-rajuli sinwu abih, actually translates to “clone”; “the uncle of a man is the clone of his father”, as Sinw refers to two branches of the same tree. Al-‘Abbas is the sinw of Abdullah bin ‘Abdul-Muttalib, the Father of Rasul Allah - SallAllahu ‘alayHi wa ‘ala AaliHi wa SahbiHi waSallam.

Hazrat abbas RA died at the age of 86 but he was older in age than our holy prophet and still lived till the caliphate of hazrat uthman. I am a bit confused about how these numbers match ? Our prophet died at the age of 80. Can anybody plz explain this
