There is a book about aliens showing up who evolved super slow. They scouted during the Middle Ages and then showed up during world war 2 to take over and were blown away by how fast we evolved and well armed we were. There was a chapter where the German railway gun hits a ship and detonates the majority of their nukes. Great book series but I don’t remember the name.

I'm an English teacher you would be amazed how many young Asian women save up for years so they can travel to Berlin or somewhere to see Swift. It's insane. It costs them a year's salary but they're so into her. I just don't get it. Switfies are just a different breed that we've never seen before.
