That JYP moment was iconic, but like many have said, it was taken completely out of context. The girl, Kaylee, hadn't been trained in dancing at all, so she was - understandably - not confident, and JYP could see that she wasn't trained. He continued the clip by saying "But I think you can be great", he did let her continue the show, and she really did improve in her dancing. 😅

He said that she has a long way to go in dancing, but that he thinks she can be great, and that he sees the passion and drive in her, and that she's very smart. 2:01 the lip syncing one I think was because her voice in the recording was strained while her actual face didn't look like she was reaching for the note at all.. I also saw tweets that were saying "why couldn't they sing live if they were just sitting on chairs" because usually, idols lip sync when they're dancing because it's hard to keep a clear singing voice while you're tiring yourself out dancing.

When it comes to jyp he definitely can be a cringy old dude but I can respect someone like him for giving a little advice because he's been in the game since the 90s so he really can say what's good and not good. I don't agree with him on a lot of things but at least he doesn't sugarcoat anything just to make somebody happy you want to make it in this business you got to take criticism because people out there will eat you alive in this world of music. And it's more respectful for the young ones to take advice from the ones that been there for decades to learn about how to deal with criticism he must be doing something right he owned one of the biggest companies in K-pop and gets a lot of respect from the industry
