Yeah, and I think it's Bruno and his crew who produced mostly, as we can clearly hear his influence especially at the pre chorus. You can say that Rosé is the main writer while Bruno is the main producer. As even Rosé said in an interview that Bruno immediately provides and suggested instrumentals and even vocal coached her while they were recording this.

Fun fact: they met through their label. Rosé mentioned she was a fan and Bruno asked for 3 songs, Rosé picked APT but the label and her team were completely against it, but she knew this was the sort of song he might enjoy! So kudos to Rosé for knowing what might appeal to him and to him for knowing what would appeal to the world!

She came up with the idea of 'Apt' but I'm sure most of the work on the song is done by Bruno. The whole song is done in a very Bruno style.

actually rosie explained the was teaching the game to people in the studio and since they loved it she decided to write a song about it and then when their label connected them bruno asked her to send 3 songs and she included apt and he ended up choosing that one and produced it

This was fun. But IT WAS ROSÉ IDEA TO WRITE APT AND PITCHED TO BRUNO - not the other way around. Bruno is a great producer and mentor for her, but I hope you give her the flowers and credit for this. I just noticed this was the 2nd time you miscredited the idea of APT to Bruno, instead of her. The genesis of the song is the night prior, Rosé was doom scrolling through negative comments about her on social media - and she decided to write about how that felt. The song is Rosé's idea..She pitched it to Bruno. Apt is her brainchild. I hope everyone stops discrediting her. I feel like Rosé gets underestimated a lot. For her vocal abilities, creative and songwriting abilities. Despite Apt's huge success I feel still she is being not being given the credit that is due.

it is so baffling how easily you guys get offended. they did not even disrespect rose and were just appreciating the influence bruno had with this song. smh yes rose first started writing the song but dont make it seem like she was the only one writing it and not to mention using live instruments instead of virtually produced sound like most kpop songs clearly means it was produced by bruno. there is a big reason why this is called a collaboration instead of a feature since both artists probably had equal contribution to this song.

@@JayZone23We are not overreacting. We are simply FACT-CHECKING their wrong assumption. When they did the reaction to the MV, they also assumed it was BRUNO’s idea, and people already in the comments corrected them. Now they are reacting to the live performance and still persisted on their wrong assumption. Talked for 30 seconds assuming that Bruno had the genius idea to turn a drinking game into a song, and Rosé just rode with it -and she sings as a feature. The fact is that it is not true - she had the curiosity and the idea to write a song about a drinking game and pitched it to Bruno. The other members of her team wanted to pitch other songs to Bruno, but she insisted in putting APT in the mix hoping he’d see the promise of the song. And he did. Bruno is a genius for recognizing the potential in the song, but it was in fact ROSE idea to write a song about the drinking game.

I truly believe both artists should get credit but it is probably easier for non kpop fans to notice bruno's contribution since they are more familiar with him.

@@JayZone23 i was not offended at all, especially in the first instance. And in my separate comment I was also just fact-checking and reminded them that this was the 2nd time we fact-checked them. Bruno is taking her under his wing is a good thing for someone who wants to break through a global audience. Even Rosie is generous in her giving praise and thanks and credit to Burno. But in this case, as in any case in any workplace, I am uncomfortable when people are not credited for the work that they do -- even when already called out. Especially if it involves a successful man and a woman -- even in corporate offices, this happens. A young woman has a great idea, and finds a 'sponsor' to support it -- but everyone ignores the young woman and will be all praises to the sponsor, as if the originator of the idea did not exist. It's time to break the wheel -- whether it be in the office setting or in this case, pop music. If you watch how they said it -- "oh probably they were drinking and Bruno just thought of writing a song, and Rosie was surprised he'd even think of it -- and he's a genius because it turned out to be a hit." -- Like Rosie was a passive participant, when she clearly had the vision and was fortunate to find a like-minded person who helped her achieve that vision.

I noticed how recently you must have been doubting BP in general esp ROSIE. She must not be a fave but I hope you go some more info like you used to do. ROSE finished recording this last year November. When she finally decided to sign up with Atlantic, she learned that Bruno is also signed under the label and so she asked the label is Bruno would like to collab with her (she's not expecting a yes) but she received a message from Bruno's team to send 3 songs. Bruno after that asked her what APT. meant and then she said it was about a korean drinking game. He fell inlove with the idea. Then rest is history.
