That'd be balanced for sure, sometimes you can still take over a win con like Kil Jaeden but you'll get going a turn later, or like a big titan will be useful, but at least you don't lose that minion and those coins are more often than not a positive effect as you'll likely mill your opponent, potentially winning the game from them discarding an essential piece.

It probably will. It's not a problem card itself and helps a lot of builds consistency.

Most definitely not, the card is too busted and shouldn't exist. Wanna put a counter card in your deck? That should come with drawbacks against other decks, not positives. ETC gives you 3 tech cards, and mostly results in there not being a single drawback, you get an anti aggro card, a lategame powerhouse card, and a tech card, et voila, you now have no weaknesses.

@@taserrr e.t.c is useless vs aggro, he's only usefull vs controls/otk/miracle......aggro would have to be quite weak in standard to make e.t.c playable againts aggro.......tech vs infinite value is fair.....control vs control, if both add a powerhouse card in him thats even ground.........overall E.T.C would be fine as a core card

@@bllllood I mean kinda vs aggro, it allows you to prevent dying to burn once you're stabilizing the board by getting an armor/heal tech card down. But either way, the card is busted and poorly designed, the whole point of a tech card is to target specific decks, ETC is not a tech card because it allows you to fish for 3 cards, essentially putting counters to any deck in your deck, depending on what you need, which is not tech because it doesn't make your deck weaker vs other decks.

I'm speaking as someone who played Plague DK a whole lot when it first came out, and it really does rely heavily on RNG, since she can easily shuffle those Plagues near the bottom of the opponent's deck. At least they weren't as bad as Asteroids.

I don't think Renethal should return, but there is definitely a design space for a new Renathal inspired card for control players. The problem always becomes when the cost of a card is not balanced, like Renethal was at times during its reign, it just becomes a free benefit. A tricky design space but one worth pursuing, but maybe not right when they are trying to stabilize the game while promoting new stuff. 100% agree about ETC. It is the type of toolbox card that neutral should emblemize.

I think Zeddy skimped over how affect DH will be by the rotation; losing out on Through Fel and Flanes, Burning Heart, Parched Desperado and Taste of Chaos will hurt alot of DH decks. Sure the legendaries were not game changing and impactful, but these cards were DH staples. Overall good listing bro.

Gonna be honest, with how high the power level has been with the rotating expansions, I would not mind if they didn't revert any save for a few cards. The highlander cards could go back to saying "if your deck has no duplicates" and deputization aura is fine to unnerf. Most other cards we're nerfed or reworked for very good reasons.

i love control and i think warlock will be unplayable against aggro with heal from felstring harp, symphony of sins, mortal eradication etc. no reverb either, no sargaros... my 2nd favourite controldeck... Deathknight... no Reska, Helya, down with the ship, primos... will also be hard to stay healthy...

lookede fruge the cards left and dam as a warlock main this is gone be hell. don,t get me wrong i am happy to finally not be forced to play sludge or fatigue four my Tempo/Agroo deck. but warlock is left with so few tools its gone be a nightmare. (Control : has good control cards. but has nothing realy to build up to) (Tempo: has nothing. on less you count death knight card........ and no one is gone use discover warlock) (Agroo: Whizbang and paradise only realy gave painlock support... so great the most anoying warlock deck ever is gone be the only playable one. until new tools are given)

These sets all feel like such a good riddance, there's so much anti-fun absurdly OP bullcrap, especially in Titans and Showdown. I always hated parasitic designs like plagues, sludge, riffs and excavate. I really hope they'll stop making these card sets that take up almost a full expansion of a class with non-standard mechanics that take the space of stuff that could make for way more interesting deckbuilding instead. I'll miss ETC, though.

He might get reverted but I hope they leave the effect as is and just buff it to either 9 or 8 mana to give back something to the highlander players. They could leave it as is because rn Reno lone ranger is a neutral version of The Amazing Reno which is still a pretty powerful card and being promoted to neutral letting a lot more classes use it might warrant the mana cost.
