Actually multiple time, panda tried to pin or knock back hanabi but Esme shield just made her able to run away. I used to think Esme counter hanabi cos she can pierce shield, but it backfired cos the shield Esme gave hanabi made her run and kite enemy back easily.

Playing as thr Roam is actually pretty fun, problem is that we need experienced or decent teammates to shine. We had teammates retreat when I pinged attacked, disappear from winnable gangs after we've initiated and all around just leave us alone to die. Oh and then blame us for feeding when we get killed protecting them from early game aggro. I love tanking to death but some teammates are just insufferable and we feel less entitled to help them

Yeah, one time i use hylos to kite enemy jungler alucard from reaching the lord area and somehow this dumbass twink ling chose to go jump to him instead finishing the lord. Alucard spammed his skill and killed him instead. Like bruh let me die and get the lord

Esmeralda's recent buff was surpisingly enough to bring her back to becoming one of the best exp laners. With the adjustment of dominance ice, rising popularity of Harith, and a lot of heroes minus most tanks including her and other tank first hybrids like Terizla have all had their defense nerfed which affected a lot of heroes who are not tanks but relied on def items like Karrie, Guinevere, Ruby, and Chou to name a few. With this new landscape, I think Esmeralda can be one of the best if not broken exp laner.

Dyrroth is actually one of the hard counters for esme due to his burst damage and its insane how he doesnt know he can take esme down easily. And as esme main, I recommend using mage build with oracle instead of the ice wand for the shield and regen effects. Esme can increase her shield the more magic attack she inflicts on minions, players, and creeps.

I have recently started to use her and I can definitely tell, she is amazing right now. She can just literally bully most of the burst exp laners in the laning phase. Sustained damage dealers can be a bit problematic. All the more she is insane against heroes with gaining shield from their skills. Yesterday a chou and paquito of level 2 can't wear me down inspite of being level 2 as well. In the contrary they were forced to retreat at last. She is literally unkillable with revitalize.

The only problem with esme if she’s your enemy is that if she got fed early game there’s nothing you can do even in the late game. You can build anti heal but she can just build oracle and all is well

Panda was pinning hanabi to the wall but because esme jumped on her, she gained shield and cc immunity and escaped 😂 oh and btw if you are playing healer like estes against enemies with dominance ice then you can increase your chance of survival by not using basic attack and 2 skill so that you won't be affected by life drain effect (you allies still get affected but since you yourself can still receive the full healing you won't go down easily, especially if you are using a squishy build with lots of magic power)

as a hanabi main, i could tell that the enemy hanabi is focusing more on attack damage than speed, maybe its because betos team has hard to kill characters, but still the attack is surprisingly slow.

I am an esmeralda player and I have 3000 MMR, I play about 2 games of ML a day so, here is my build: Boots(depends on the enemy exp laner, change it if needed after getting the three core items), Holy crystal, Enchanted Talisman, Oracle, 2 armor pieces depending on the enemy line up. You should rush the three items to become a monster since esmeralda's shield increases the more magic power u have. Edit: I forgot the emblems, I suggest u choose the support emblem use inspire or agility, tenacity, and impure rage.(also use vengeance another alternative is revitalize for enhanced regen)

Esme's passive give enemies shield that she can use to heal herself, but anytime Hanabi gets a shield she becomes CC immune. Just something I noticed which is probs why u couldn't killl the Hanabi solo

I havent seen a match with Esmeralda vs Hanabi so this match showed me that Esmeralda is giving her CC Immunity for free.. Also the phone is slick, I was looking at it on the side and the gameplay seems so smooth..

Why level second skill first before her first skill? That dyroth is definitely inexperienced. He is the best counter to esme but he played so passive overall. They also never had enhanced skill available during engagements and first item should have been sea halberd to counter esme's shield regen. They did buy dominance, but the better item would have been to buy sea halberd.

I once got a maniac as lvl 13 esmeralda against lvl 14 esmeralda, hanabi, and 2 other heroes (i forget which ones) in brawl. I tumed my ult really well and got stun and lifesteal on all of them. Yeah, this really happened 😅

Dyroth is a direct counter to Esmeralda. He would likely dominate especially in early game. The enemy exp player is probably just inexperienced. A Dyroth would normally go Ham on an Esmeralda.

The nerf on dominance ice really gave Esmeralda the luxury going around without any counter so far also the problem before is her mana drain now with enchanted talisman on her core item she's now a walking death sentence to anyone accidentally crossing her path 😂

As an exp lainer ik thay dyr can dlt esmi but the problem here that dyroth didnt get his full passive in the start of the game from the blue buff so he could win the first wave against u easly
