I couldn't agree more with the rankings and I think that the importance of pubs highlights the cultural fabric of football in England, with local establishments contributing to matchday experiences. As someone who correctly guessed Newcastle, it was not actually that hard. When Z said it was a league above everyone else, I immediately thought of teams that do not have a local rival in the Prem, and in the end I just went for Newcastle because of how far north it is compared to everyone else.

Zealand- as a Geordie born & bred I have the answer for this. Unlike most other teams, our stadium is smack bang in the middle of the city, we didnt build pubs around our stadium we built everything around it! We call it the church on the hill & football is our religion here. You can see St James' from everywhere & on a match day you can hear & feel it too. We're also one of the only cities that doesn't have any other football teams, everyone supports Newcastle so the atmosphere & vibe of the entire city is based a lot on how the team are doing. I love it 🖤🤍
