This was awesome and gave me a lot of great ideas. The worst part was that you kept saying you did a bad job after each bit. All things are subjective and the whole video showed you have a lot of skill

Thanks a lot! I'm glad I could give you some ideas. Yeah I think what I really meant was just that it was raw, not bad. I could have used a better choice of words. Naturally when just playing whatever comes to mind, there are going to be mistakes. I appreciate it!

Can you do a technique analysis of joey jordison's double bass technique ?

Not much of a double basser, so that would be a hefty challenge

Would be better if you went into the deep stuff unapologetically, it's cool stuff. I loved your video, got a lot of value from it. Keep it up!

yeh im pretty sure this is a subject that is often missed. The fact that its important to just sit down and play whatever, rather than constantly practicing a specific pattern.
@TomPompei Жыл бұрын
It's very little talked about and it's something most people probably do a bit of. I think it can be a great place to learn how to play as yourself as opposed to playing like other drummers.

@@TomPompei yeah I think it helps define your own personal drumming style as well
