In the recent US match, the speciality that had very large unfilled spots was Peds. In South Korea pediatrics residents are very rare. The world is slowly moving to less number of kids and medics are reacting. I was discussing this with a established doctor and she said Peds is vaccination plus infectious diseases (rhino and gastro) only. It is losing its charm now in India also. Nice to hear a clear thought process and see that u have convictions and act on them. I am a BITS alumni and Pilani in my days was only the campus. Only the bus stand existed outside it. Switching from an autonomous institute to an university system was smooth for you?
