Grinding with the "oh I gotta have it" mentality is the reason why I got burnt out playing WoW and I quit during MoP and just now recently picked it back up after 5-6 years. Instead of being fun, it started to feel like a job and I had to "work" for the things i wanted to achieve, forgetting to have fun along the way. My message to people who are stressing over a time crunch: don't stress, it's a video game, it's supposed to escapism from reality, not meant to be some grind you gotta work at after you've been grinding at IRL work all damn day. Unless that's your style, you like to be stressed out while playing video games.

I got AotC and the Black Serpent mount from Visions achievements which were big goals for me this patch. For now, Longboi is my main priority, but I'm also almost finished with getting all rank 3 essences so I may spend some time on alts playing around with their best essences. I haven't gotten the mount from Jaina since I wasn't sure how easy it was to get into a Mythic BoD group (never really looked on group finder), if it's not difficult I'll look into that too.

I'm still gonna level up my 2 death knights from Legion for Shadowlands, a frost for the Necrolords and a blood for the Venthyr. I don't care if the covenant abilities are good or bad, It's for the lore, the theme and the rewards. Once they're 120, I'll just take a break from WoW until the pre- patch.

I’ve always felt like the mount loses value when you get carried for it or you pay for a carry. My favorite mounts are usually the ones that take the most time and work

Kinda rough to start going for Brutosaur now, but if anyone is so determined, a great option is being able to do boosting. I made a little more than a million for this mount from the auction house months ago before it kind of died. I started with about 450k gold. And the rest came from freehold and vision boosting, more freehold than visions. Really good gold per hour if you can keep finding customers. I just finished my grind for this guy, literally 2 days ago. Good luck!

I've all but given up on chasing time gated achieves. I am not going to stress myself out at "losing" something forever that I never had to begin with. Not worth the mental strain. Instead until prepatch hits I am prepping all my toons for shadowlands. That's it. That is all I am doing for a few weeks. Getting everybody in my roster ready for when the content drops.

My fun in the end of BFA has been farming for the longboi.. The Atal'dazar farm is the best IMO if you are solo farming with the Skinning + Leatherworking shuffle. Good luck everyone! =D

For me its all about getting older achievements done before the lvl squish. Glory Raid/Dungeon achievements. Because I remember Legion's stat squish and getting one shot on stupid stuff. So... I'm gonna get it cleared out so I don't have to worry about them once SL is released. I already gave up on Rank 4 Essences and Long Boi - I suck at making gold and PvP - so 2400 was a pipe dream lol.

other then those mentioned in the video, i myself have been doing groups and raids(sadly people dont join for raid ones) for all of the glory ones beside bfa. we have actually knocked out panda and to classic ones besides most of the ones that require 4 or more people(i got most of those though). i have been grinding out all the fishing achvs too i even got my artifact pole ready for new expansion :D. so if anyone ally connected to the nagrand server look out for the glory achv groups if you want those glory achvs im usually on the finder looking for others

During this period I mostly focus on getting my characters that I’ll be maining in the next expansion ready. Making sure they have plenty of gold, their class mounts, any transmog that I wasnt able to get before, etc.

Right now there's double XP, if you're not max level it's not a bad idea to get back in and get to max level. There's a decent amount of catch up mechanics as well so while gear will be mostly irrelevant in the new xpac, it's just really easy right now

There should be a special achievement for completing LFR Nzoth. Logic would say it's an easy run since everything in LFR is blindfolded easy. But it's really not. It's like running maze with 29 zombies constantly trying to eat your brain as teammates.

Hello, do we know how farming legacy raids is going to work? Is it going to be a corresponding stat squish with whatever the expansion level cap would've been? ie. If level cap was 70 in BC, I think that squishes down to 35, so is the burning crusade expansion going to be level 35 everything? and then to maybe solo farm you have to be level 45 or 50? does this make sense? Lich king would be level 40 then, and to solo farm maybe 50 or 55?

Super hyped for Shadowlands. Blizz is kinda moving backwards with SL and its good! Back to how things were done better in the past is very good imho. Don't forget to do warfronts for transmog! While warfronts and their sets will probably not be going away in shadowlands, the gear will probably become a lot harder to obtain as far fewer people will probably be donating to the war effort and queueing and unlike MoP scenarios you won't be able to solo these because they are so big and complicated!

Mate, go for it. Ahead of the curve is genuinely easier than Legion. Ny'alotha is getting shit on because of the corruption scaling we've had on all difficulties. Mythic I wouldn't bother with as Kelani said, but if you want voidwing, it's essentially a bit of research and 1 evening of long raiding (less if u get into a nzoth grp that's reasonable).

Love this video. Imo, most important part was the last part. Don't burn yourself out trying to get all this done. It is probably impossible to get everything done. Do the pre-patch content for that good ol' lore hook into the new xpac, and honestly just do the Raid Finder/Normal content for the last raid content if you are as into the narrative and lore as I am.
