I literally found out that I needed to use a technique like this on my model, around 2 days ago. And I suddenly find this video. You have tutorials for everything! Thank you so much! Keep up the good work.

Word to newer users, and anyone looks for value from this video. This is not a tool as the title would suggest. This is a process, and there are probably easier and faster ways to do what is done in this video. Makes me a little concerned that people would buy a book if it is filled with information similar to what is presented in this video.

What is a better way?

@@ArijanRaceYou can just bake the hole high poly thing im a low poly model in Substance painter in like 5 clicks. But this is pretty cool to and might be better in certain scenarios

@@ArijanRace, the faster way is to put the low poly model in the same position where the high poly model is. Bake the high poly model onto the low poly one. Not sure how much it matters for the UV to be the same, but as long as both models are in the same place in the viewport, it should bake.

U are ligit the best youtuber for learning blender!
@ВадимКойпиш-ф1ю Жыл бұрын
Very useful video! I started learning blender with a paid course on how to create a tank (I won the course for free). After watching several videos on your channel, I received much more useful information than from the entire paid course. Thank you very much for this opportunity!) One question: are you planning to release a video about creating textures/materials? It would be great
